i seriously used to play mad games and just buy each new game that comes out and play the hell out of it then buy the next best thing, but i bought bf2 and got addicted and tried to buy c&c3 and played that and then i had bf2 withdraw shortly afterwards and had to just quit c&c3 right then and there, for some reason bf2 is the only game that i have ever played consistently for years now

i hope so...because i dont think any of the high ranking players would play with me...id love to play with a TBFT2 member, maybe PM me their xfire or something. i think it would be nice to play with them then come here and post about it :)

add some of the people here to Xfire. There is a group of people from the UK who post alot in OT that go pubbing alot.

Yes, and if only we all could convince DiCE that patching and expansion packs for 2142 are not the answer! At least, it has been a year since 1.41 came out and we all know that we are going to remain here…and with all the bugs we have learned to live with them. But really, the problems with BF2 mostly have been cleared up or at least mitigated and overlooked. Hacking….well, I have to say, I never, never, never encounter these ‘hackers’. Seriously, I don’t know where you people play! Or at least, maybe it is just that everyone plays on Karkand and that is where they are at.

But, there are some here whom have never jumped ship to find a new game. Personally, I’ll go and play some StarCraft for a change or pace, but Battlefield2 is all I have ever really wanted in a game over this decade. After playing for years and years of FPS games like Quake, BF1942 with the DesertCombat MOD was really all I could ever dream of. The only thing that could get better is the realism of better environments or physics. Well, graphics are nice, but at some point, I get tired of having to spend lots of money upgrading my computer.

DiCE, for all their patching faults, and EA for their horrible community bonds, have a great product on their hands that is really, really fun. And they make fun games! If you get over complex, it loose its appeal because it slows down the action. The concepts in PR are really good and it looks like Farcry 2 are going to pickup that…but the quickness and ease of BF2 is hard to turn your back on.

If only we could get DiCE to come back and help clean up the code a little more and get punkbuster to tweak their backend stuff, we might not have so many people that still complain.

Hence, why I still carry my sig after all these months.…

i play kark all the time and still never run across any cheats/hacks, though i make sure to stay away from IO and FF=OFF.
