unranked servers that have special features like weather/ changed maps, ect? I was just wondering about how much Bf2 can be changed on an unranked server.

Yeah, i have seen some where vehicle drops were edited and other stuff like vehicles swapped around. I'm not sure how far BF2 can be edited though.

It would be cool if it were more like CSS, now that is one hell of a mod-able game.

you can do some pretty cool stuff with unranked.

I dont play on unranked but back in bfv i remember playing a map that had some huge heavy bomber in it, when i played that map again later.....i never say that vehicle again.

there should be an option as which vehicle you want dropped, tank, apc, aa, boat would all be nice
or maybe different locations get a different vehicle that automatically drops, say on Wake you ask for vehicle drop on arty island and a boat should drop, a tank should drop within any flag cap radius and a fav should drop if your in the middle of nowhere etc etc etc

Only way you can really change it in an unranked server is if you are running a mod.

I've only ever seen different different vehicle spawn times and positions in unranked servers. Oh and the ticket ratio can be changed for massively long games. I have heard about CP's being moved around the map but never witnessed it myself.

In my opinion, if you want a vast change in game play, play a mod.

today it kept dropping transport when i vehicle dropped....but when an admin came on (i left quickly then came back) he had a tank drop instantly :O

mods as mentioned b4, and I used to play unranked that ran the TotalBf2 mappacks, we even installed a couple of the map packs on our unranked match server and pubbed as a team on it...

If they made the vehicle selectable, it would balance the game very fast :)
