You are the greatest bf2 player and chopper pilot of all times Sloi. I'm trying to picture you how you look like in real life, and if you look half way decent you can be one of my idols.
p.s. excellent job on the chopper tutorial. Long Live Sloi!Comment

Re: Time for another soloing thread!
Ok Sloi ...you know, everytime a thread like this is started, it will be the same 'soloing rules' vs 'screw you selfish asshholes' argument. Which I'm sure, is why you started it. You also know, that in the past, I would side with the 'soloists are all a bunch of eliteist, selfish, something really bad, mother-dittling, freak, asshholes, and so on's...that could care less about anything except themselves' ..oh, and did I mention asshholes? But, since I have gotten fairly good at soloing, I want you to know, I understand your point. I totally get the frustration of knowing you can do way better by yourself than you can with a noob pilot or gunner. At times, I would love to reach into the screen, and grab some people around the throat, and very graphically explain whats what. I have messaged them in game and said things like, "You realize of course, that when you fly this low, your gunner can't see anything, and when you hoover over flags, we're a sitting duck. You realize this don't you?" But, they never get it ...they sometimes get, "You suck! No way am I geting back in that death-trap with you again!"
hehehe, this one round, I was flying for a guy, and we were head-to-head against an enemy helo, and I was trying to set him up for a TV shot. I was sliding and doing barrel rolls to dodge their missles for quite a while, and waiting for him to fire the TV. After they killed us, and we were waiting back at the carrier for the helo to respawn, I said to him, "Hey, you gonna fire that TV or what?" His response was, "You gonna shoot, or do cirlces all day?"
That was it for me, at that point, soloing sounded way, way better, and I know I would have lived longer without him. But you know what, as much as I 'understand' your point, I still don't agree with it. I'm not buying that 'soloing is teamplay' arguement. Soloing is all about the person doing it, and has nothing to do with 'whats best for the team'. Anyone ...anyone, who is great at something, MUST pass on what they have learned. Ok, so you learned to do something very, very well ...so, now what? Now, pass it on. Give that noob a chance. Show him what you know, and maybe, just maybe, instead of being known as a selfish, eliteist asshhole, you will be known as a teacher, that is truely respected.Comment
