Flying heli help

gents,
I've just recently started flying the heli with mouse and keyboard, after always flying with joystick. I've always seen people kick *** with mouse and keyboard and always heard it was better/easier then joystick. I thought I've give it a try. I'm getting down the basics pretty good. Its takes some getting used to but nothing to intense. I've just one question. i have tried to do the, "SPIN AROUND THE BASE WHILE YOUR GUNNER RACKS UP THE SCORE" strategy but cannot seem to figure this out. I know you all know what I'm talking about. You spawn and all of a sudden, bang, your dead cause there is a heli doin circles around your spawn point at a hundred miles an hour. I've tried rolling while turning and just cant figure it out. I know its going to take some time but if atleast I knew the control sequence for doing this, I could work on it. I read a heli tutorial on here but didnt give flight specific details, more, strategie guide. How about some knowledge from some of you expert heli pilots on this matter.

I say it. When it comes to choppers, KB+mouse owns Joystick BIG TIME.

As some of the people said in that thread, it's just a matter of getting used to it.

I would agree to that, but only if your into soloing. I can fly with a joystick pretty good, but soloing is a lot harder with a joystick (it can be done, but just not as easy).

well of course soloing is easier with keyboard and mouse, im sorry if I talk without having soloing implied.

I just don't see how mouse is better. I agree that i came off a little aggressive, not saying you don't have brains, but joystick is just my preference.

frankly, i dont need to explain anything. Joysticks are made for aircraft, which is why you don't see logitechs in Cobras (im only assuming).

Are you up for a challange? You and buddy with joysticks and my freind and me with K/B?

You need to explain 'why i need to grow a brain' to fly a chopper with k/b and mouse!

It doesnt matter if you use a stick or KB&M. You can be just as good with both if you practice:)

And you can be just as good with an F35 or J10 if you practice

In this case, F35 = joystick.

i have tried both techniques, kb+m is, i find easier, however i found using they joystick great fun, probably because i sucked with it.
