Re: Flying heli help
So don't tell people that flying KB+M isn't good if you aren't good. I'm one of the elite chopper whores in the game, and nearly everybody I play with uses KB+M, along with myself. I don't know any great pilots that use a joystick.
Unless you know what you're talking about, don't say a word, and don't be surprised when a flame war starts when you talk about something you don't know about.
Back to the topic, I really couldn't explain how to do it unless you were watching me. I never "learned" how to circle a flag, you just get a sense of how your chopper moves after you fly a lot. I don't know how many hours in the chopper you have, but when you have close to if not over 1000, things make sense
Just sit in an empty server and keep tooling until you get it right, some things are better left to the individual. There's no one right way to do nearly anything in the helicopter, every pilot has their own techniques. Find what works for you. :)
I don't know if I'd say that. There's nothing in those videos that I couldn't do first or second try with a mouse and keyboard, and I don't consider myself a good pilot. Gunning, I'm pro. Pilot, I'm average. Even though my "average" is probably pro to 99% of the people that read these forums. :p
Anyway, you can do all the backflips through cranes you want to. Unless you can dodge a missile, you're pretty worthless. I'll bet I would hit this Cors0 dude's "dodges" or lack thereof 99 times out of 100.
