I quickly found out that stats made me play without enjoyement.

Yer i found myself becoming really angry over nothing-which is not what i am usually like.

The dam stats system constantly made me hate players and thus everyone flinging the 'noob' ' u cant fly 4 ****' 'my stats r bigger den urz'

its like people that dont have kids. they talk **** about how bad the kids were raised, but they dont have any kids themselves.

u want a perfect game? go make it urself. and even if u make it people are still gonna whine about how bad it is.
also, if u were in the same situation u would have the same attitude that dice or ea has. I can guarantee that u would not try to fix the game if u were in their situtaion. u would tell them to **** themselves and buy ur next release. stfu and stop whining. u couldnt do a better job

Perhaps if there is a game that gets the majority of feedback that is negative, the game developer should probably look into it and fix it.

There are other games that people have issues with, and the developer improves it, and gets good feedback.

Quit trying to slough a game that has been plagued from the beginning with silly bugs that Programming 101 could solve, as well as a myriad of other problems simply ignored, on players just being negative.

Longevity makes a game developer famous, ie. Valve. Valve has always done their best to improve their games and it shows. In the end, any new product they put out is already pre-sold because of their good reputation.

No developer is perfect, sure. But EA doesn't even try.

hey why dont u run over to the ea hq and show them how to develop games? yeah your so ****ing good that theyre gonna lay a red carpet for you and make u fresh coffee and pay u every single dollar that they make off of ur amazing game with no problems.

Like Garbaldi said a few pages back, mods do GREATLY enhance Battlefield 2, and the experience.

However, the point I'm trying to make is that the company should provide support for a game if the current quality isn't even the quality advertised prior to the game.

Patches should continue to be released and new features incorporated to at least match the back of the box!!!!

I love how teams such as PR, EOD, DEPO, RC, etc. are all working for free to provide the game with new features.

So hats off to you guys, and to EA: I see a green light at the end of my dock (that's for all you Great Gatsby readers)

Mods are supposed to enhance and diversify the gameplay expierence, NOT provide life support to a game.

Anyone who says EA didnt fail with BF2 needs to take a hard long look at the current state of things.

Bad things:

- map size
- bugs

there's a big change.... they fixed things and made things worse.
