Cod2? what? There is no nade spamming in COD2, unless you play on like 30+ player servers (which the game is not meant for), and I doubt people are using set nades in pubs.

What you need is a good tank/APC commander to watch the entrance of the city, while the others advance to Hotel. Then move tank/APC to hotel, rince and repeat
