I Need Help from someone who knows about computers.

I know this is probably a stupid question, but is there any way that i could get a
good enough of a graphics card for a dell B110? I know its a basic computer and it sucks, but i just wanted to know if there was any graphics card good enough to play Battlefield 2...... any help will be appriciated.

what kind of [or has it got?

PCI or AGP, we need abit more information on the system specs, eg..

    CPU
    RAM

    EDIT:

    Is this ur system?

    Intel® Celeron® D Processor 325 (2.53 GHz, 533 FSB)

    Genuine Windows® XP Home Edition

    512MB DDR SDRAM at 400MHz

If so u need more RAM ie 1GB atleast & then we can work on a better gfx card.

Right click the "My computer Icon"

Look for "Properties" and go into it.

        Look for "Device Manager"

Look for Video, Video Adapter or similar. It should be pretty specific showing the type and model card you are using.

I can see two strikes against you so far.

1- RAM needs 2 gig for good performance in BF2

2- Celeron CPU it is sorta like Pentium "Lite" I dont know anything about these but I know just enough to stay away from celeron or similar names on CPU.

One hard drive is nice two might be better. Those are not that hard but you have a DELL and it might be sorta different than the usual custom builds.

Another thing to consider with Dell computer is sometimes they have tabs or propietary hardware that sorta limits a choice of video cards so one needs to be extra careful here.

goto start, then run, type dxdiag, press ok.

we need to know what is under 'Display' 'Sound' & on 'System'

Mine...Upgrading a dell is a extremely hard because their cases are really funky...they are very slim and might not fit some parts like a PSU...If you have the cash (like $900-1000) just build yoruself a new rig...its definately worth it and from what I hear its not that hard..

                  ___________

Building computers will save you tons of moneys if you pick the right parts, from the right place, and built it right

If you are intersted in building tell me your price range and I'll help you out

You only have PCI slots so there is no point n upgrading. You need a new PC.

                        Video Card(s): 2X http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130283

                        Sound Card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102188

Is there any way to get all the parts off one vendor to save on shipping?

Or is shipping already included in your estimate?

You can get all you need from Newegg. You should wait a week or two for the price drop before you buy and decide whether you want AM2 or Conroe.

You can also apply for their card with deferred payment for 6 months or Bill Me Later which allows 3 months no interest before you have to make a payment.
