i have the G36 and the scar but I decided to use the M4 last night and I tell ya I owned like every person with it, I love the Laser scope on it as well dont get me wrong I love the G36 but i never pwned that much with it like last night LOL:laugh:

Hell yea, I've been saying it since day 1. I use the M4 over all the carbines.

i do like the red dot sight on the M4. overall, it's a good gun, probably my gun of choice on the USMC (next to the L96), mainly because i don't have many guns unlocked (started a new name).

You can't use M16A2? It's just the only gun I can kill with....I have masterd all guns but M16A2 is my fav and that's why it's my avatar.

I heard someone say "Remington 11-87 FTW. Well it makes me lol, because I just got off from IO karkand and was totally whoring AT and Engy kit, I never knew they were so good. No mean to brag but I would get 4-7 kill streaks with those babes...MP5 is even good at long range.

I also use the "n00b tüb3" alot since it unallows someone to be revived.

Anyway M4A1 is a great weapon too.

But no weapon is the "best".

That's me If I play karkand and I see that mess at Hotel I just like to come with my Remington 11-87 and get like 8-9 Kill streak - death - revived - repeat :laugh:

wasn't this thread about the M4? and why are people saying AK101/47 > M4, yea aks are better but they are assault rifles, the M4 is a carbine = less damage, but the gun feels so damn natural in your hands it almost purrs, i use the M4 as spec ops almost exclusively. the ak74U carbine is pretty good too but i find the recoil a lil worse so i would choose the G36C over it, the 74 feels alot like the scarL, Ive always been a fan of quiet guns, all carbines, L96/85, G36 series. the others just make me feel like my cover has been blown instantly, AKs pwn all but they are almost as loud as a fully auto M95, in certain situations of supposed hiding i wouldn't be caught dead (literally) spraying everything in sight with an AK, through the alleys of karkand most definately.

What's the fuss about AKs? And the in-game sounds suck..any way to change that?

So as you can see they do not sound like in-game at all.

This is not a problem but it would be nice to have good/realistic gun sounds.

I <3 M4. I use the Scar-L when MEC or China but the M4 is quiter, has less recoil and looks better than all the other carbines. The first two help you when your creeping round behind enemy lines and the third just makes sure you look the dogs b0ll0cks.

Uhmmm you're badly mistaken....

Anyway I can use any gun, I just prefer the AK family over anything. I could careless about burst or single, I need fully automatic for my play styles.

The M4 was the first gun I used when I fired up BF2 in SP mode for the first time.. I was hooked.

Erm no PLA AK-47 = Love
MEC AK-101 = Love, but a slight less that AK-47

100% agreement, ive had many 30-0 kill streaks with the ak47 on vehicle maps. would be nice if it was an unlock so i could always use it :evil:

the knife is waaaay better, its my favorite, it deals more damage per hit, and is alot quieter....also you never run out, and dont hafta reload....

the only thing thats limmited with the knife, is the range, and it doesnt shoot marshmallow flavored rainbows :cry:

Uhmmm you're badly mistaken....

when he says noobtube he means the AT rocket not the nade launcher. a direct hit from an AT rocket usually kills someone on the spot. once in a while it doesn't tho, funny how 5 packs of C4 won't kill you but a tank rocket will.

The n00b tub3 is the AT rocket, won't let you get revived...use it wisely


If I'm in a firefight, and have the AK101, I will ussually die after 3 kills, but if I have the M16A2 I will die after 4-5.



The bursts just feels better. It's more accurate. But as said I can fight with any gun I just get better K/D with an M16A2
