And I will answer your question instead of insulting further (like you did):
As far as CQC, PR is MUCH better than BF2. Sniping feels fairly the same, but the close quarters battles in some of the maps all feel like a real battle.

I have never tried PR, but I love the CQC in BF2 so I doubt I could get into it. Who knows though... Is PR good for sniping (I might play PR then)?

Give PR a go, YOU might like it. I can only give my opinion. PR is indeed nothing like real life as it is a game mod, nothing more.

1) How can you compare a realism mod to a highly unrealistic sport?

2) Yeah, because you regularly see pilots getting in tanks and then jumping out to snipe.

3) You don't die, you can't even access it.

I played PRMM for about 3 days straight when I first downloaded it through modjive. Then I found out the choppers fly like crap.

That was the end of that mod. I don't understand how you can have a mod with such great infantry gameplay and just half *** the choppers and how they fly and react to certain inputs.

I agree I tried to let them know how their AA is not much different from the AA in vanilla, as far as being easy to use, and they just pushed it off.

Really theres about 100 people that wanted DC resurrected on BF2 with hardly no changes.. The helos get **** canned again against the jets that supposedly have no dumb fire missiles..


Back on topic Vanilla is horrible thats why I stick to AF or SF. Vanilla and its J-10- and Solo guiding *** holes won't have a chance to shoot me down.

I swear solo guiding requires as much skill as someone using the Vietnam Cobra in the same manner except it had a damn tracking rocket. You hover a few feet in the air and guide your missile to the target and you have plenty of time... Miss the good old days when people just used dumbfires in a helo vs helo fight.

Muzzle flash is virtually non-existant, or barely discernable on most firearms.

HMMWV's and Vodnik's can be driven by anybody - Tanks and APC's require a specified kit - generally, you don't see a sniper hopping in a tank and rolloing off.

PR is a game that you may not particularily like - that does not mean it is 'crap'.

People need to have some respect for the mod makers. They put hundreds of hours of free time - which could be spent with friends or family - into creating a whole new experience for free, which they can only hope people will enjoy.

Unfortunately, a few people in the community feel the need to be disparaging, and call the devs work 'crap'.

Have some respect for the modders - without them, BF2 wouldn't even exist.

I am so sick of these people who say PR sucks because they don't know how to play battlefield beyond "LOL PLANE FLY".

And yeah, the PR devs made a full mod in their spare time. What were you guys doing? Playing vBF2, one of the most broken games ever.

I wish I had money to donate to PR/DCon/FH/PoE2 devs...

I have great appreciation for the time and effort these guys put in making these mods. I know first hand how time consuming and tedious developing mods can be.

These guys are spending much of their time so that they can offer the community a fun alternative to vanilla BF2. Personally I like having the mods as they are a nice change of pace to vanilla BF2 however vanilla BF2 is still cool if you can find the right server to play on.

Now I have one quick question about PR. How in the hell do you get the planes and choppers to fly? I got in them last night and while my controls seem to work the damn things would not take off.

Please don't tell me to go check their site for the answer or I will have to back hand your mama in the mouth....lol j/k
