And i know that every game has its glitches, AIMBOTS, wall hacks, and tkers, so lets just conclude that ; how much you like bf2 is very very personal, and that if you choose to dislike it, then dont pronounce those whp love it (me) as losers, and idiots, flaming only makes things worse.

if a mod got realism right things woulld and could still be equally. I still don't see much use in a gunner.

DCOn yeah easy to fly wait till a stinger or two hit you and kill you and you have no defense or clue where it came from. DCON is a mod to bring back the same experience we had in DC. While DC was awesome in its time, if they had the same tools today they'd of added the defensive measures. Stingers and AA use to require skill in VANILLA. Then people who believe that helicopters were to over-powered even though when your in a helo everyone INCLUDING the infantry are firing up at you rather they deal damage or not.

Yes SLoi they are easy to fly real easy to fly. Just to easy. Anyone can get in one and fly it. Join a 32-64 man game and PLAY, the planes rape you every 5 minutes. There is little to do to advoid them. A good pilot will gun you and hit you every time. Some maneuvers work a bit but even me being a crappy Plane Pilot all around got into one on a full server and racked up 60 kills and only 3 deaths. I killed several planes once I got on them I fired a rocket which appeared to go through or past them but it actually does hit and wound the planes.

Stingers just fire in the general direction of the Apache, and the HIND good god its a flying graveyard. I hate to give the devil its due but DICE Canada did one thing awesome. SF has the best HIND ever. It is not unbalanced, you can still get kills in it, as well as the apache. It climbs at a much faster rate making it easier for a gunner to TV guide the apache, while the apache is fast and maneuverable. Some try and try but they just don't get the hind right. Alot of people believe in real life the HIND flys like a cow. It actually has a great LIFT, and is very light feeling to a pilot. Most mods make it feel heavy and even hard to tip up without going flying forward.

I hate it that we can't get a good balance within the helicopters, planes and AA. As it stands in vanilla it requires little skill to fire and kill a helo that is trying to fight the other helicopter or being attacked by one of the many stingers. I don't have a problem killing these little AA whores but it just not very skilled to me, when me having hardly ever touched anything other then a tank can get in and shoot down a chopper when its been stolen. I use to think I could do it because I knew how to fire just right and what not. I can avoid and rack up lots of kills in vanilla. It just don't seem balanced, same with DCON. Some get things to powerful or two big.

I being a huge helo whore try to give advice and alot of them throw it in my face, same with a buddy of mine. Immunity wrote out a big thing about POE2 and even a few others. We all got reasons why this and that. When at the end of the day I know how easy it is.

Mods are the way to go, at least for me. People play for fun, not for stats. That's what vanilla should be like.

Thats just it, vBF2 is still like that for lots of us (fun). If I didn't play for fun, then I wouldn't play the game. I don't find PR fun. At all. Quite a few of my clan play it and enjoy it loads, but some of us don't. Thats no reflection on the MOD or those that made it, it just personal choice. People that put others down just because they don't feel the same as them should really get a grip on themselves. Its only personal preference and its only a GAME.
As for hacking/glitching/cheating bunny hopping etc etc, to be honest, these things really are quite rare in BF2, at least on the servers I play! I haven't seen anything of the sort. But then I play on good servers because i'm choosey who I play online with, like UKWarfare, Bamboo Commandos BodyBags UK etc.
When (if) vBF2 stops being about fun, then it will be time for me to stop playing it.

I agree, PR is definitely something that some people will adore and others will dislike. That's the great thing about mods though, you can try them all to find which ones you like. No buyer's remorse. :)

You know, its ****ing pathetic, some of you. Honest to god, the mod teams put in a ridiculous amount of work, and while I doubt any of them actually care about the opinions of a child, its still disconcerting to see people just going PR is crap, or DCon sucks balls. IMO, they are both awesome in their own respects, but if you dislike em, put your words more carefully...

You are probably a chopper dude, judging by name. DCon choppers have no TV missles, therefore you dont like em. Its an alpha. Putting it off as crap is just stupid.
