Vanilla BF2 will feel hollow and shallow by comparison.


I tryed to play in the Vanilla servers after a few weeks of PRM and I wanted to hang myself it was that crappy.

Vanilla is fine.

PR takes some time to adjust.

DCon is still in the "present opening after Christmas" phase.

good wording dave, alot of hype for stuff like this blows over, think of what HALO 2's hype was, now its a classic hit for $15.00, ahah

but yeah cant put a price on BF2, at least i cant, vanilla BF2 is great! but yeah the mods only explore the deeper embraces of war.

the effects on pr sucks bigtime, especially when you shoots, no lightning from the barrel

Also, for better Vanilla expierence, stop pubbing. Find a good clan server, running good maps, with some friends, and play there. While I agree PR is better than vBF2, that doesnt mean its the only way to play

funny you should say that because actually its the exact opposite IMO.
PR is crap. Its a poor shadow of the game.
Notice use of the word "game" there. Thats because its a frigging game ffs.
You want "reality" go join up. You want to waste time playing a crap game, play PR.

I have never tried PR, but I love the CQC in BF2 so I doubt I could get into it. Who knows though... Is PR good for sniping (I might play PR then)?
