We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
How about you join a clan/server? This is why I created my own bf2 server cause I was tired of following other people's rules and such...And as far as "hundreds" of other servers theres only a few that are great...How many servers do you know of that have 64 slots..ff=off...no voting/commander ejection(voting commander out) and no lag? Very few...Check us out at www.digital-anarchy.com and be a part of the server instead of being fodder in it...
And now you do it fifty times worse to other people by teamstacking considerably, and booting anybody who even dares to give you a challange.
I say on our totalbf2 ownage day, we all go to that server and rape the hell out of them.
lol i would love to do something like that. Imagine having an organized platoon of bf2 players, whose sole mission is to piss a single person off.
ie. someone waiting for a vehicle, and like 30 guys just start pushing him around/teamkilling him.<-stupid, but just an example. I think being a jerk is worth the laughs.
EA and Dice cornered themselves by allowing admins to create their own rules. Most of them are completely illogical and go against the game mechanics... it's f*cking stupid.
Believe me, nobody has kicks and bans like helo/jet whores: you get used to it extremely rapidly. Well, either that or develop high blood pressure along with necessitating anger management classes in order to deal with the stupidity of it all.
Eventually, you stop caring, shrug as the kicked screen pops up and move along to another server.
Server Name: 702recon Ranked NO LAG
IP: 67.58.3.117 16567
I feel your pain. One server banned my friend for soloing when he was the gunner and I was the pilot. The next day in the same map, helicopter, and area of the map, some one from the 702recon banned my friend for attacking their uncap (which is against the rules).
We were fighting the other chopper well above the 30 meter mark and the fight started by the City Enterance <?> (where the 2nd PLA choppers spawns) and it ended above their main. After finally winning the fight, we turned around and left. 5 minutes later, my pilot gets kicked and banned for attacking the uncap (which we neve did).
I asked why he was banned the the admin said, 'I saw him attack the chopper on the pad', which is a load of crap. I think the other US chopper did that at a later time and they blamed us for it. I normally respect these types of rules, but lately, I finding problems with them.
First, admins tend to forget them at times (I had one of the 702 clan members TV missile our chopper while we were over our uncap, below 30 m) when it would hurt them. Secondly, they are too hard to accurately enforce all the time. Lastly, I think having too many rules puts a strain on the admins and their patience just dwindles (702recon is a good example).
I have played in that server enough and think most of the 702recon guys are cool. But all it takes is one immature or pissed off admin to taint your opinion of the clan (especially when it results in a ban). I petition the ban and he agreed to reverse it, though he never admitted he made a mistake. Strange thing is that it never was reversed and I don't care if I play there again.

Funny, I don't respect any of the aforementioned rules specifically for the reasons you've written: server administrators always conveniently forget or turn a blind eye to their own rules in conjunction with preferential treatment for certain players. Additionally, it's simply too easy for administrators, EA or DICE to dismiss reports of abuse for lack of evidence... and too much trust is placed in the abovementioned group: then again, how long can you possibly stay mad at the gentlemen putting money in your coffers? I will never forgive EA for allowing server owners to make their own stupid rules.
1. I follow the rules
2. If I dont like the rules i go find a server where i can play the way I want instead of coming to the Tbf2 forums and complaning
get over it there are over 1000 populated ranked servers at any time of the day and unless you live in the central republic of Africa you should have a good ping on at least 30 servers.
Thats a stupid rule that is for sure, but you have no choice frankly chances are if you carry on as has happened to you, they'll kick and ban you. Might aswell quit whilst your ahead and go find a well admined server and stick to it.
hah, once I joined a german server where one rule was "not more than 2 clan members on the same team"
Well, funny that the clan that runs the server had a full squad (6) consisting of their clan on their team.
So I asked how that can be and they answered:"Because it's our server"
Huh, I would say they are afraid of getting pwned.
That's how the story goes. Some admins think they are God and they behave accordingly.
We have to deal with that or get on another server.
Well to be honest, they gave you a warning kick, they didn't ban you straight away, then they told you not to do it right? you probably kept bitching and complain that it's not on the rules, and the admin had enough.
I've been kicked/banned from servers many times for similar or lesser crap you listed above. It does get my blood boiling, but I remind myself, "their server, their rules" and the idiots at EA will not do a damn thing, because they're making money off the ranked server.
FYI, I have banned players and would of banned you as well for arguing. Just my opinion.

I'll second that. Digital Anarchy has no leg to stand on in this matter. They're one of the top servers of admin abuse and teamstacking as far as I'm concerned.

That's why I'll come here and post about bad servers, such as Digital Anarchy.
