Kicked AND Banned for no reason...

This really pissed me off today. Im playing in a server on Dalian Plant, flying the J10. I followed an F35 from the middle of the map to the carrier. I had already hit him once, so 1 missle was all i needed to get him with.. As he goes down to resupply on the carrier, I fire the missle, hit and kill him. Then I get kicked from the server for attacking a vehicle below 30m of the carrier. First off, thats the stupidest thing Ive ever heard in my life. Second of all, I didnt even get a warning, just a kick. At first I thought maybe I missed the rule, so when I logged back into the server to ask, I read the rules at the loading screen. They had rules like, wait in line for vehicle, no attacking uncap, max 2 spec ops in uncap at once, and some other. NOWHERE did I see any rule about not being able to attack something that is under 30m above the carrier.

I then got in the server again and asked them why they kicked me. They explain (for the reasons I mentioned above) so I asked where that rule was stated. They told me it was on the load screen, and the rules at the top left of the screen. I told them that it was NOT on the load screen about 3-4 times, and they kept saying it was and that I needed to "get over it". Our entire conversation lasted maybe 2-3 minutes. I stopped talking to them, then the round ended about 1 minute later. After I loaded the next map, I didn't even get to the spawn screen, and I had already been KICKED! Then I tried to log back in again to see what was up....but I was banned...........

Am I the only one who sees a problem with this?

I normally would, but it's getting to the point were server admins are the main reason that Im starting to dislike playing BF2 more and more. It seems like every server has rediculous rules, horrible admins, ect. Sure, I could care less about not being able to play in that server, there are hundreds of them out there, but thats not the point.

No, don't get over it, post your experience here. That's what forums are for.

Here we have advertised good servers, and there's nothing wrong with talking about the bad ones either - hopefully they'll change their attitude if they're exposed.

well said, though complaints can be annoying, these are always worthwhile. i think its safe to say that we have all been in a situation like this. for me, i was kicked for killing an admin that was stat padding, i rejoined and got banned. put simply, admins will be admins. of course they arent ALL bad, but the ones who are ruin the game.

There probably was a reason you were banned so cry me a river build a bridge and get over it. all these pubbers complaning is really annoying the **** out of me.

the thing is you learned they had the rules after you got kicked the second time and if you dont like them the door is always open to leave the server.

I've been permanently banned from two servers for excessive team killing. On both servers I never killed one single team member, just one day the ban poped up and bang, I'm out.

I just decided the servers that do this I don't want to ever join anyway, so I think they actually did me a favor. I kinda look at it like they automatically put themselves on my blocked-senders-list.

How about you join a clan/server? This is why I created my own bf2 server cause I was tired of following other people's rules and such...And as far as "hundreds" of other servers theres only a few that are great...How many servers do you know of that have 64 slots..ff=off...no voting/commander ejection(voting commander out) and no lag? Very few...Check us out at www.digital-anarchy.com and be a part of the server instead of being fodder in it...

Ignore it people will be stupid, doesn't mean you have to let their stupidity bother you, it's not like you have a right to play on that server from their point of view.

Ontop of this there's nothing you can do about it.

Maybe you didn't read the thread.....I told you EXACTLY what happened. I didn't do it twice. I did it once, asked why, said that the rules weren't posted in load screen, got kicked. Go back and read what I typed and try posting again after. If you still don't get it, take a class in Reading Comprehension.

hell I have been playing on the UniSol 24/7 Wake server alot recently, so much so that they asked me to join their clan but I told them I just left a clan and wanted to lone wolf it for a while

for those of you that dont know that server, they got some stupid rules and a few good ones like...

1) not allowed to attack uncaps - ok not a BAD rule
2) not allowed to cap flags with helo (they called it "no flag hopping") - ok not a BAD rule
3) not allowed to take F35 to airfield and bail out to take cp, to cap the airfield USMC MUST have 2 flags on either side of the island and work their way to the airfield (their reason is it will make the round last longer making for higher scores) - kind of a stupid rule to me
4) no stealing enemy aircraft, if you cap the airfield and the PLA helo is there you are NOT allowed to take it - TOTALLY FVCKED UP RULE
5) no raping the last flag (I got to know this rule quite well as thats what I thought the point is if your in a helo and PLA has 1 flag left you rape the sh!t out of them till your ground troops can move in and take flag) - another stupid rule

well early yesterday I was asked again to join, and I declined, later on the "SERVER OWNER" who is a woman (go figure thats why the admin power goes to her head) told me to ease up in the helo, I thought "what?? ease up in the helo?? Im taking out all the armor and enemy choppers...even TV'd a few jets and she tells me to ease up?? wtf is that
so she proceeds to tell me that I was chasing all the players out of the server, WTF the server was full!!! the server starts to empty because she kicks people instead of warning them for their first offense
So I join the server today, now mind you I NEVER broke ANY of their stupid rules, OR their good ones hell I even helped enforce them because I would tell squadmates what they were not allowed to do. I spawn on ship, nobody else there so I go solo and proceed to go something like 22-0 until I get rammed. USMC was losing bad when I joined, we still lost but I got the gold and the round was half over when I joined so I did pretty well. She makes a comment to let us have the last flag to get this bullsh!t round over, I didnt think nothin of it, all the clan members left and its now the next round. 4 members in my squad, we take turns in the helo and everything is going good till one of their members joins and invites me to his squad. I accept because me and this guy do real good together, hes a good pilot and knows how to set up his gunner. He tells me that I pissed this woman off because I was POINT WHORING, WTF thats what you get when you do good...POINTS. I told him that I never broke any rules and he agreed, then her HUSBAND comes in and types in (in all caps) GUNSLINGER IM NOT WARNING YOU IM TELLING YOU TO QUIT RAPING THE UNCAP
WTF!?!?! I NEVER touched an uncap, never touched arty island. I told him that and he says Im full of **** because he was watching in BF2CC, now I know you cant tell where the kills are coming from, US took a flag almost imediately and were on the island thats where I was getting kills.
He ended up banning me for point whoring, vehicle whoring and attacking uncaps. WHAT A DUCHE!!!
and whats really funny about it, nobody in their clan can use the TV missle for sh!t, 1 guy (my pilot) isnt bad but he needs practice, and when I am on their team they (SHE) would tell people to get out of the helo and let me gun. LOL fvck that server, asked to join then kicked, then banned all in less than 24 hours

sorry for the long post, just wanted to vent and tell my "got kicked for no reason" story

Yea dude, the Uncap is a breeding ground for lame *** rules. Just learn to deal with it; because I guarantee it won't be the first time someone abuses their power as an admin in light of the uncap.

I think these are the new types of carebear servers. Before, they used to be servers who didnt allow any bad words, ect, but now its people who suck too much and are afraid of good people joining their server. The whole point of the game is to do good and kill the enemy. You shouldn't have to "hold back" because the admin wants you to. I didn't know there was a skill cap in this game.

The whole point of the game is to do good and kill the enemy. You shouldn't have to "hold back" because the admin wants you to. I didn't know there was a skill cap in this game.

you know I aint bad in the gunner seat, but ffs I would LOVE to see someone like Sloi or Chur in there and REALLY own their a$$es
and Metallica, this woman seems to think she is the best pilot around, and she IS good....when shes in a J10, I would like to see you in there and own her as well
