Just admit that you kill for vehicles because you'd rather be in that cockpit. I can freely admit that I do so, they started it.

Who would that be? I, and many others with the awareness to determine when TKing is required in order to most benefit the team.

I never denied doing it when necessary: in fact, I'm fairly certain that I clearly stated supporting it in times of need. I'm experienced enough to know when the time is right and who is most fit to replace the unfit pilots.

It's unfair, I agree... but the goal is victory and it comes with a price: sometimes, the cost happens to be your seat in the vehicle. I am more than ready to willingly give away my seat to let a more talented pilot or gunner lead us to a win, however unlikely that may be. Though it doesn't appear true at first glance, habitual soloers are team players too.

I will TK some1 for the following:

Starts shooting at me(even one bullet)
Tries to knife me
Tked me before for a vehicule!

I will punish for the following:

Doesn't know where to throw M67s(frags)
Shoots me on purpose
Rams me


If it is a skilled player who accidently did the following I would forgive:

Naded me
If I walked in front of him shooting some1 in firefight!

If someone force-TKs or flashbangs me deliberately, I do it back, same with carrier C4ing. Nothing else really though.

Damn straight, and what pisses me off more is power tripping admins that instead of unsurfacing the story behind the TK they automatically kick you no matter how justified your reason is.

If there is admin on he/she needs time to kick the TKer.
in the meantime you TK to retaliate = you will both get kicked.

You may feel justified with a retaliatory TK,
but that just makes you a TKer also.

I think it's perfectly OK to TK for any reason, if it's not prohibited

If server rules say "No intentional TKs", then you deserve a ban if you intentionally TK somebody who's on a tk spree.

Personally I find either just no tk rules at all + autokick 3 tks/punishes or "No intentional TKs" best rulesets, since they're clear and easy to reinforce. Just glancing at other ppls responses pretty much confirms that opinions on what's proper behavior makes enforcing anything but simplest black & white rules impossible.

So unless the server specifically says "No TKing", then you you say its alright to TK for any reason? That seems pretty rediculous. If people were smart, they wouldn't need a rule to tell them that killing your own team is wrong.

TKing is one step down from the punishing debate.
The trends are near the same. People are either nasty little [BEEP] or are wimps that need to hide behind a game to make them feel big and powerful.

If you think that someone intentionally TK you, then you punish. Thats what its there for. If they are TKing others, then its up to them to punish.
TKing someone does nothing to them, only you. They wont get the message, they will punish you back, cos thats what they wanted.

But a load of people only TK over a jet or some such, which just shows how shallow these people are.

You must understand that all types of people play this game. Young, old, noobs and vets. All have different skill levels. Try to respect other players and their skills, cos when a game is on-line, its becomes more than a game, its social interaction.

ive gotten into TK fests at the Heli spawn because i always TK whoever TKs me...and honestly.....it was fun as hell...i loved it....

so i got plenny of action without even leaving the uncap...the great battle for the heli was twice as fun as the battle against my enemy..

out of however many TK's i have, only two of them have ever been on purpose.
commander was spamming 'enemy boat spotted' on mashtuur once, so i head shotted him with sniper at point blank range. he went ballistic cause i layed down next to him and fired
the most recent one was a bit harsh. i was flying helo, and some guy wanted in, but i already had passenger, so i took off and he opened fire on me. i turned around, called 'hop in' so he started running to me, then i set the chopper down right on top of him and squashed his sorry ***. he then respawned and SRAWed me!

point being, i only think its acceptable when that person does something that was unnecessary, people that do it for no reason are just complete tards. (a bit contradictory, but what the hell)

i tell ya, the amount of TK's i have cause people arent aware of whats going on. it bugs me so much when that happens, and obviously they punish as well even though it's their fault.

Yes you get idiots in jets and choppers that don't know how to bomb or TV, yes you get idiots that don't know how to play their job.

Just ****ing deal with it, if they're that bad they'll die often which gives you more opportunities to get a seat. Do you -really- care that much about who wins the round? So what if the opposition is holding a flag with skilled players, just go elsewhere...

At the end of the day, those people may not be the best, may not know at all what they are doing but everyone paid their money to play this game for Fun.

I do like having good stats at the end of the round and do get pissed off with people that aren't helping but what right does that give you to TK them? Many times i have got a crap gunner in a chopper when i prefer to solo, just take them out and give them a chance or don't get in the chopper at all.

100% of the time, TKing is not OK ...if I see someone purposely TK a clanmate, 100% of the time, I will find and TK that person as fast as I can. If someone TKs a clanmate, they can expect to have to TK every one of us they see. I could care less about score or who wins. I am usually very forgiving about it, on accidents, and even if on purpose. I will report it to an Admin, and if they don't do anything about it, then I still will let it go, because I would rather avoid the person, than get into a TK fest, which doesnt accomplish anything. I also avoid servers that condone or do nothing about it. Nonetheless, I don't give a crap how its justified, or how self-rightous the reason, 100% of the time, Tking is bad for everyone.
