If you like Gears, try Lost Planet: it's basically Contra in 3D... awesomenesslyrific!

Go ahead and live in your dream world chopper whore. I am pretty sure I would get the better of you on the ground.

Even Metallica who claims he is a great groundpounder has nothing on me (although he is a terror of the skies, I wont deny it)

This is a primarily infy map, though I am sure Metallica has an excuse why I scored higher(not to take away from his infy skills, because he is good), but in this company and playing as only infantry I know I have the ability to keep up with the best.

Sloi, I am not saying your not talented, but for you to say you could outperform me on the ground is amusing to say the least.

I see nothing amusing in my prediction. Should I ever acquire a better internet connection in this freezing wasteland, I'll look you up

By the way, I'm sure it's pointless to mention the uselessness of your screenshot... what with the countless variables involved and all.

Let's get this thread back on track.

Lol, ok here comes the internet connection excuse. I play with a 90-110 ping on these servers, and I live in Canada too, and its not a frozen wasteland.

You said you could outperform me on an infantry map, well Karkand 2 is pretty much that, so what are these countless variables you speak of? The players who play in BF2C aren't noobs man, so that cant be it.

and as far as being on topic, you shouldnt talk, your posts are as far off topic as are mine.

and btw, this was no SS I kept just because, this happened today.

I just wanted to be included in this e-peen contest.

I don't see why you're getting so irrate at Sloi in the first place. His opinion is just what it is. An opinion.

Everybody has one area where they have spent the most time in; and thus are the most proficient at. Mine is on the ground. Sloi's is in the air.

Although I've been spending a lot of time trying to branch out into the Air Domain. I've spent a great deal of time piloting a helicopter on unranked servers, and have recently even begun doing it on ranked servers with varying results depending on how good the enemies helicopter duo is, and how bad my gunner of the hour is.

I wouldn't go so far as to challenge an experienced Helicopter Pilot to do battle; especially if hes got a gunner who is as equally experienced as he is. At the same time, I highly doubt that he'd want to run into me on the ground since that is where the majority of my time is spent, and it has become something that I've become extremely proficient at.

Sloi, or anybody else is free to challenge me for a ground pounder battle if they disagree; I can guarantee you a tough battle irregardless of how good or bad you may be.

Sloi basically called me out by stating "I choose to ignore ground fighting despite knowing that I could outperform you, not because I lack the ability... but rather because it's of no interest to me. Enjoy the "mini" game..."

He believes he could outperform me on the ground, I disagreed, thats where it came from. I am absolutely NOT irrate with Sloi at all. He just comes across as another air jock who thinks IO is for skilless players which is not true and who also thinks despite his crap infy stats could 'outperform' me

Is my opinion not valid as well? Sloi dominates the air, but for him to think he would beat me on the ground makes me laugh. You know, its not like I have never used a vehicle, or played any other map than Karkand.

There are other Helicopter Pilots out there who could give him a run for his money. I hear CAL and TWL have 2 vs 2 competitions for those sorts of things.

Yeah, and I was on two #1 teams while I competed in TWL (Team Doubledown and SOE). I was also one of the main helicopter pilots/gunners/soloers for 24P along with Z-Man and Hatchet. CAL? SOE.

I currently reside in IQALUIT, NUNAVUT: the only Internet Service Providers are satellite based, meaning high latencies. Nunanet averages 1000ms, whereas Northwestel comes in at 650ms, both of which eliminate the possibility of online gameplay.

Like I said, let's leave the digressions aside and get this thread back on track.

                          That is indeed a predicament.

I honestly don't think you could beat Rock though.

Nothing short of CAL or BushViper calibur groundpounding could. I hope you practice before the challenge is made official.

Hey Dairuka and Rock fu. I to have been a ground pounder through and through. I may not have the amount of time invested like you guys but I do believe I can hold my own. I would love to play with you guys becuase Im always one that prefers competition. Do you guys only play unranked servers or is there any ranked servers that you frequent that I can join?

My K/D is pretty low now from flying with my clanmate. I'm lucky to get between 2-4 kills a round while he's gunning choppers, tanks, and even jets getting 70+ kills a round. Does it mean I'm a bad player? Nah, just means my team global is higher(average/percentage-wise) than most.
