Last I checked I was 13:1. That's without baseraping the carrier on wake, mind you. 75% of flying is strategy. Flying high. I've said it a thousand times, but no one seems to listen. Fly high (500) dive on the target, pull up with after burner, head back to carrier. Makes it very hard to shoot you down because you're only visible and exposed for about 5 or 6 seconds.

I've been starting to use that technique and found it damn usefull when you're not in a MiG or J-10

Re: What are good aviator ratios?

I'd really like to see those god pilots dog-fighting each other - it'd be less stressy for my chopper pilot, for sure!

There's one guys studying with me, I've not seen one like him, yet:

He started to fly with DC and continued with BF2. Afaik he's/was playing for Team Germany in the Nation Cups.
He used to have a 35-40 ratio, but patches (AA, J10) made it more difficult, I suppose. He's still at 30+ nevertheless. And guess what, his favorite maps are without J10s...
Anyway, it's always nice when I'm riding in a chopper and the team's jet is rather hunting the enemy jet (esp. when it's a J10) than going for some easy bombing runs. Or when you spot some armor and the jet deals with it instead of raping some carrier.
I see those pilots fewer nowdays, but I appreciate your work - whether it's him or one of you!

Well the past few months I have really gotten into dogfighting.

I don't get as many kills because I like dogfighting. Mainly started with BF2C.

I like flying against good pilots for the challenge... NOT with 2 jets including a J-10.

I like F-18/MiG, because mig turns tighter and its faster, but F-18 can dodge missles better.. etc

Also F-35B/MiG, F-35B is faster and more responsive but the MiG will rape you if he gets behind you and you have no flares/aren't up high. MiG and F-35B have similar hitboxes too.

Only time I will baserape is when there is a J-10 involved, because they don't deserve their kills.

Most of the time I just rip through the enemy jets like nothing and get comparable scores to bombing. But I like flying against good pilots.. more fun then just trying to keep them down. As long as they are 2 jets that are fairly close.
