    I took screenshots

I killed him another 4 times again, this time it was high alt dogfighting, nothing under 600

N2K, you with the F35B? Nice.

Circle fliers piss me off. I mean, if Im in the MiG, against a F35B, I can potentially get behind the JSF within 3-5 turns (not circles), and they are wasting that jets potential by playing it safe.

Next time try to disengage and reengage, or play for a yo-yo. It works against the Su, as you can barely-barely come back and get a lock, against MiG its a little more tricky, I know you wont get a cannon shot at them, but a missile lock isnt an impossibility.

Is Masila mcmt? Or am I mixing something up?

Masila is #3 aviator with over 100k jet kills.

Yes I was in the F35, I used a combination of cannon and missiles. When he took to the skies in the SU I used only cannon.

If anyone wants to play and come kick my ***, or try.

I remember there was a Masila in these boards, or Masila was advertised, some google videos. And the google videos themselves had mcmt on them (pilot highly spoken of). So I just put 1+1 together, although maybe my deduction was wrong.

I reckon this really was a high altitude dogfight then. If I was in the Su or the MiG I would try to fly somewhere between 300 and 600 to play for maximum advantage myself. The higher you go, the bigger the turn radii get and the more missile shots the tail has.

If Masila is indeed that mcmt guy, then you must be pretty good as when I was watching those videos, he was kinda lazy with the MiG, but very good in the F35B.

With the MIG he was trying to get away those three times. I found him slipping by him trying to go straight up and hide in high alt.

With the SU, we didn't go under 600alt, then the time he got me when flying in the MIG was after being hit by a stinger, I hate those. He put up a good fight in the F35 but I would trail him to 850. Metallica puts a real fight compared to him.

Before they mashed this game up, I flew alot. I was at #24 or so early on, but whatever my kdr is, that's the threshold for good.

Re: What are good aviator ratios?

btw I forgot to add that the kdr is not accurate and doesn't trully reflect a smart pilot. Many of these guys bail out close to their uncap to avoid the death. In addition, after the 1.3 patch (yes I know there is a long thread about this) dog fighting is very different.

                p.s. nice stats metal

He would type while flying "Piss off" lol
i stole an su34 the other day, spawned, took f18 and flew there before any of the enemy spawned LOL fast pcs rock!

I hate bailers. But I must say from watching MG videos I can get away from any jet, in a F35B if I have flares and AB 85% of the time I can. He also thought me some flaring techinques thanks MG! My jet stats are a bit weak mostly because of baserape and I never bail and I hate bailers when taking out a bomber.

My Stats: Type: Aviator Time: 187:32:09 Kills: 13655 Deaths: 3306 Ratio: 4.13 Road Kills: 1531

Either you bail all the time, or you use a J-10... or ****.. any jet other than the 35..

But K/D ratio means nothing if you don't have at least 5,000 or so kills, because it will move up and down alot below 5k.

I have like 43k... and I can get like 500 kills in a couple of rounds (without dying), and my K/D goes up like .05 or something.. ha.

As you know i had a kdr or 43 i think not sure. Its now 10.9 due to some people advising me to get a joystick and i didnt really want to play unranked so i just grabbed a jet when i could and crashed alot.

The reason i played ranked so at a later date i can correct it.

I would say a kdr of around 30-50 is good for a second account and a 1st account of around 20.

Re: What are good aviator ratios?

Ive got allmost 32,000 kills in a jet with a respectable 19/1 ratio. I stopped playing BF2 for 6 months....just needed a break. When I came back, pilots were much better and the missles were crazy accurate. A few of my old tricks still worked though...ie...last second chopper lock ons. Guns dont play nearly the role they used to. I can still sneak up on someone and take em out with guns, but missles are just quicker.

I don't understand why it would be so hard to have high KDR ratios with anything flying. Especially since most servers simply airstack all the pilots on one team, and they can fly around unchallenged for the most part.

I've seen many, many players end the round easily 33-0 or 45+ - 0

Masila is someone else as mcmt. I don't think mcmt would play for points, lol. Here's the videos I've already seen them a time ago Flyjetandkill showed them to me..

The thing is.. I've never seen the top US Pilot whoever that may be dogfighting against the best European pilot of course in Dogfighting. Would be nice to see.. Probably pings would ruin it..

ive gotta say all the pilots in those videos are totally useless at loosing each other. theyre nearly away and then the dumb****s loop back down rofl. if they are indeed the top pilots then it shows that they got there by going after kills. pretty much like col.kam did, just flew the bombers, he had some 80,000 kills whilst i was on 45,000, but he was **** at dogfighting.... just like many others with lots of kills.
