Lol, that thread got derailed in a hurry...I personally believe that you do not hack, simply because I have not seen proof that you do, and I have played with you, and I assume you would have done better if you had the hacks. This was during regular ranked play, not competition.

usually when u cross a frontier, u would never die in a jet. but it all depends on if uve got the balls to not give up the jet to protect ur lil ratio even if ur getting baseraped.

Ya know, I never really checked my KD ratio. As a matter of fact I didnt even know how to check my standing as an aviator in the leaderboards until a couple of months ago.

As a benchmark you'll generally know when your effective (IE your team wins) by more than just one factor. You have to be very flexible and change roles on a dime. And heres the point I'm getting at, In an F35 and a j10, 2 equal pilots. The F35 will get shot down at least a few times, But if you harras that j10 and have him pop flares and strafe him and basically just make him uncomfortable you can dramaticaly reduce the damage he inflicts on your team.

That being said you will probably get a crappy kill to death ratio but you will be effective in suppressing their air assets, it just depends on what your personal priorities are, numbers or gameplay. Personally the best tip of advice I can give you, dont worry about numbers with this game and you'll have a lot more fun, when you fail in the air critique your self HONESTLY and figure out what your doing wrong and what your doing right, whether you win or lose.

Just one other thing, flying a jet in this game makes you a good one man react team, if a flag goes neutral and you see no freindlies on the flag, odds are its going to the enemy, bomb that flag, you can kill them before they cap it easily, also tell your team to spot things they want "to go away" prioritize what your targets are, sometimes it's hard to pull away from the attack helo your chasing but a full black hawk can do way more damage if your china on wake than any cobra helicopter... Think, think, think.

Yeah, flag defend's are an underrated stat for pilots, they are exceptionally important.

And BTW, I happen to get flag defends while flying, when I bomb people on flags... Once I got a defend shooting down a plane FLYING over a base :P

Stupid question, where do you go for the aviator K/D ratio leaderboard? I have looked on BF2s, and I cannot seem to find it...my new account is sitting at just 11.something, about 10 of my deaths are from getting raped on the carrier on wake though....and about 5 from ****ing UAV's.....and one memorable one from a friendly blackhawk...and then one from a freaking supply box...:)
