    What are good aviator ratios?

    Yo!

Just quickly wondering, while browsing through some stats of mine and others, what are good aviator stats, really?
If I had a ratio of 3.25 in anything other than aviator, I'd be proud. But somehow aviator kills come very easy for me... And I've seen people with a ratio of 10 and stuff...

So my question is, what do you think are good aviator ratios?

I think a decent ratio would be something like 8:1. Metallica Guitarist could probably tell you more precisely though... send him a PM.

I usually get over 10:1 in a normal round nowadays, but my crappy stats are from a long time ago :)

        mine is only about 4
If KDR was seperated per plane i would probably have:
        J-10-10:1
        F-35-4:1

this ofcourse being recently, cause i sucked at first.

I would say an overall good KDR is 8:1 if you play all jets and dont just J-10 whore. I think metalica's is above 15 and he soley flys the F-35, thats why he's by far the best pilot on this forum, and probably in the world

        Check out his vid.

KDR means nothing for your ability as a Pilot. All these people with stupendously high KDR's just bail when they know they are going down to save their precious number.

Just have fun in Jets, that's the important thing. Only you can decide for yourself how good you are in the air by judging how you handle dog fights, attacking ground targets and how you support your team from the air.

For jets, I think 7-8 KDR is decent, anything below (like me) means you suck.

I currently have a ratio of 4.61 with 20 hours in the jet. I'm pretty good I think.

Well mine is only 3. something to one and I'll hold my own against a lot of pilots. Like I say, KDR means nothing.

Only recently I started getting really good in jets. Some rounds I'll go 50-2, and others I'll go 15-10.

Eh, in my new account, it is sitting at 60 something kills, and 13 deaths, but that is with very little playtime. I normally just fly jets on OCS, sometimes Dalian plant, sometimes wake, it the chopper is gone, but a jet is there.

If you keep it around 10:1 on average, in your average round, youre starting up. I would say an average of 15:1 KDR describes a good pilot. You obviously do better and worse at times.

Another things I look at are KPM and flag defend points. One describes your efficiency and another would descibes the teamworker part of you.

****, I guess by everyone's standards I suck then! lol

I am starting to despise jets. I think I'm the only person in BF2 who can get shot down in a J-10. I consider it an accomplishment to have above 1KDR in a round in a jet. ****ing joystick is what's messing me up I think. I was pretty good with KB/M, but the "miracle joystick" has been a "miracle headache-inducer".

Keep at it, I was in the same situation and I've got over it.

I use the KB/M, and I do pretty damn well in jets these days. I mostly fly the F-15 or Su-34 on OCS, not gun in it. I used a joystick every once in a while, but I did not like the feel of it.

I think 10:1 is a good to decent k/d ratio.

Anything above 20, with over 10,000 kills, is insane...

Either you bail all the time, or you use a J-10... or ****.. any jet other than the 35..

But K/D ratio means nothing if you don't have at least 5,000 or so kills, because it will move up and down alot below 5k.

I have like 43k... and I can get like 500 kills in a couple of rounds (without dying), and my K/D goes up like .05 or something.. ha.

BushViper I'm pretty sure has 37,000 kills and around 1,000 deaths on Aviator.
