BushViper I'm pretty sure has 37,000 kills and around 1,000 deaths on Aviator.

Bushviper is a different story.


As far as high KDR... WITH alot of kills, buc nasty kills everyone on the leaderboards.

When I try real hard, not realy, I can get good ratios in dog fights.

But those are good days, my overall kd is rising since the first 200hr I sucked lol

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was titled "What good are aviator ratios". Thinking that they aren't good for much, I didn't come in....... Guess I should learn how to read.

Well I only camp when its the only place to kill and allowed by server. Sometimes I let them take off just to shoot em down

And Bail, I think I have less then an hour in parachute time. Hmm like some "top pilots" i've see with 4hrs in parachute lol...wont name names.

id be able to keep abround a 10:1 if i didnt crash so much. i do sum of the dumbest crap. like yesterday i was 56-3 in a jet. 3 crashes(UAV,Mountain,vehicle drop). all doing very basic things. i know for a fact ive probably crashed just as much as ive been shot down. and i used to lag real bad and get a ci, then end up in a tree. take half of my deaths away which were me crashing anyway and i would be at 10+:1.

i never set myself up to bail, but if i have the chance i will bail out of the F-35 if im over the carrier with 2 j-10 missiles flyin at me

lol i just learned how to use the bombs so i just got my KDR up to 1. and when i do fly it is usally in the F35b on wake island.

I am going for my Vet Aviator Badge (the time is the hard part) right now so when I am not playing with my friends, I only try to fly jets. While part of me hates jets with a passion (because I am mostly on the ground), the pilot in me respects a good balanced pilot. I realize how fast and some times complicated it can be at given times.

I have a 3.17 ktd ratio at the moment, most of my deaths coming from J10s (while in the F35b) or my own stupidity. I like to go for the team oriented kills (kills on flags) as I am team player by nature. But I am not, by any means an efficient killer in a jet. :cry:

On a related note, I have 2 questions.

1. Is it "customary" to enter the air field in the same manner as you take off?

2. Do people have a problem not seeing vehicles spotted by either the commander or other team players?

1. yes its better to fly in one direction because other air vehicles will expect you to. (although... if you can keep your eye on whats on the carrier, it isnt so bad, but its always risky, and you will never kick yourself harder than when ramming a friendly over the carrier)

2. no but if the vehicle isn't in a semi-close vicinity it won't show up. also for me i dont think commander "spots" show until after the scanned red dots dissappear.

Doesn't he have like 5hrs in a parachute?

I have played against him many many times. He goes as MEC at clean sweep and camps the hanger all round.

Here's how much I suck with the jets:

Time: 01:35:58
Kills: 8
Deaths: 61
Ratio: 0.1639
Roadkills: 2

I find it really hard to practice because it seems that a lot of good jet/helicopter pilots like to hide near a spawn point and kill you seconds after you've taken off.

Nothing is more irritating than crashing that frigging UAV. I had a round when I managed to crash with it three times

BF2 is practically my first simulator ever if ancient TIE fighter and Descent are not counted. My current KDR is 4.85 and i'm getting it up little by little but fixing the stats made during practising will take time. I would say that after you are capable to use all view angles efficiently, then you start doing good as a pilot.

By example made by Metallica, I've recently started to manage against J-10s in F-35B. For example in Dragon Valley I always try to get on USMC side and get the plane. Hit and hide :) It feels so good when you manage to sneak right behind a J-10 and drop it with cannon.

I think it's something like xMetallicaxGuitrstx

And I can testify to Patriots' flying ability. He's good in the Su-30, and a generous pilot... gave me lots of LGM line-ups lol.
