We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
You misunderstand: his was an attempt to humiliate me. Otherwise, he would've inquired about my displeasure with R2's server through other means. Making it public just draws more attention...
I agree, nobody cares here that Sloi doesn't like your server, go and take it somewhere else, PMs and IMs are there for a reason.
I just found and watched half of the BR from that round. From what I saw your shots missed and didn't go straight through the heli. I'll watch the other half tomorrow.
To play, load up BF2, click on the community tab and you should see it as a downloaded BR file named sloi.bf2demo in the right hand column.
Like I said, I should've been frapping because they were clearly going right through. It's ok though, you can gang up on me if it makes you feel like your case is stronger. I still think your server sucks, so yours is a lost cause if convincing me otherwise is what you have in mind. Every single time I've played in it, I've had bad experiences: I don't need to connect the dots for you, it's rather clear.

I've played on R2 before and I can say the latency really sucks.
People over there will kick/ban for my playstyle (which includes basic Tk-ing/redlining) as well.
Best solution? Don't play in there.
Hold on, their server is perfect: you must just suck if you're complaining about latency!
Oh, by the way R2, feel free to show them what my shots looked like from the server's perspective: I just wish I had a frap of the game so people could see in clear detail that I wasn't actually missing. It appears to me like a case of my client and your server interpreting the shots differently... and as we know, by default, the server has final word. That's obvious though. :)
This video clearly shows how bad bf2 hitboxs are. And yes, it's a tank shooting a plane.
Well the hitbox is server side and the graphic on the plane is client side is it not? So surely the image you see on that video lags behind the hitbox the time it takes to get to the server, get processed and get back is it not?
Just thinking out loud here so correct me if I am wrong.
In my capacity I would never feel the need to post a chat log publicly. Chat logs are for in game and not public consumption, regardless of the circumstances. The only time I would contemplate posting a log is when someone has either been:
a) a complete and utter knob, and this would remain for server owner and fellow admins eyes only.
b) someone has come to me and complained about being kicked.
In both events I would remove all non relevant chat from other players and only include, unedited of course, what was needed.
Call me old fashioned if you want, but that is the way I work.
I'm sorry bud, but for X reason, your server kept letting my TVs go through those guys. In fact, it happened 3 times in a row: I don't appreciate losing a heli battle to some scrubs because the TV fails to function properly. I won't be visiting your server again.
I have noticed that a lot of people use the excuse that it goes right through people. Just last night, I was "training" somebody in, and he kept claiming it went right through the chopper, when I could plainly see that he missed it. Maybe it is just what you are seeing, IE the server is not right for you, but you probably missed. Not trying to insult you, just what I have seen. When I solo, I sometimes see my missile hitting the chopper, but no kill...it is just a problem of internet gaming.

Your basic playstyle sucks than. Only a complete jerk would include tking and redlinging as part of his "playstyle".
All you chopper whores stick together don't you? I have flown a chopper, and gunned, and soloed on that server, and I have no problem with tv's "going through choppers" I must say, I have never seen it happen anywhere. I have missed, but I know I missed, and do not make excuses for it.
Ive played a few rounds in R2 servers and Ive liked it. Thruthfully I prefer a well adminned server to non adminned. Ive never had any more issues in R2 than in other servers, hitbox wise. But then I rarely or almost never TV...
Sloi, I have much respect towards you, regardless of whats been said here or whatever, but you came off as a bad loser. Tell Lady Luck to fvck off, shrug that off and thats it. Nobody likes to lose, but a little self control is always good.
As for that server chatlog, I only saw a bunch of fvckwads ganging up, as if it was cool. Seen it, been there, typical tardnugget kind.
I just watched the BR and from what I seen Sloi you made some pretty impressive shots, others you just missed plain and simple from what I could see, some were just out of range it appeared. But I didnt see any TV missles go thru the enemy helo. I dont know what the big deal was, you missed, hell I do that all the time LOL

Theres a difference between whats happening on server side and client side. People have figured out ways to get right things happen on server side, and not client side. Most popular thing is the "lagshooting". Even when you shoot ahead of the target to compensate for lag, youre no longer playing by what you see, but by what you think will happen on the server side.
