Funny how we have a top of the range dedicated server with resources to burn, don't see anyone else complaining do you? I guess you took it deep from the [DOJO] guys. I'm sorry bud, but for X reason, your server kept letting my TVs go through those guys. In fact, it happened 3 times in a row: I don't appreciate losing a heli battle to some scrubs because the TV fails to function properly. I won't be visiting your server again.

It's nothing personal: I just prefer playing in servers that are compatible with my connection, if that's the problem.

By the way, you might want to backtrack and see how many times I dropped them down before this incident occured. I'm just glad it worked properly a few times prior to this bullsh*t.

Also, if you think posting this on TBF2 in any way bothers me, think again: besides, I'm moving to Iqaluit on the 15th, so I won't be playing the game anymore. Satellite internet isn't exactly suited to gaming, as you probably know.

Let those DOJO guys know that my offer to 1v2 or 2v2 still stands. I have a few days of BF2 left before I'm forced to retire :)

I've given up reading all the codswollop that gets printed up in the left corner of the screen.
I have enough trouble trying to stay alive than try and type out dribble for everyone else to ignore.
Only a very bad player will blame everyone and everything else for their own bad performance. They need to realise that you can't be perfect every minute of the day. Chill out, get a life and enjoy it.
Yes I've also had TV missels go straight through the middle of a chopper or three. Hit them head on and get to see the inside of the chopper in black and white. Bleedin frustrating but no need to abuse everyone else for it.

Well, I feel better letting the opposing heli know they survived only because the TV glitched several times in a row. Naturally, they're above everyone and can't accept this simple truth, so I am by default "bad". Can't argue with that logic, I guess...

I also like the idea of posting server logs on a public forum in a futile attempt to humiliate me. It's going to be an entertaining thread for a while, to say the least.

It was also nothing personal against you either sloi, I just was suprised you were such a bad sport and got a little chuckle out of it. Anyone who's heli'd as much as you and I have know exactly how bad the tv hit detection is on "any" server, with any ping if you aim for the windscreen.

It has nothing to do with the server, you and I both know that. It has to do with shoddy netcode and hit detection front on a heli.

Considering my techniques work on practically every server I've played on, I'd say it's your server. It also happens quite a bit on FHM and another server I can't recall.

I'm not a bad sport, but I definitely get angry when stupid stuff like this happens. Additionally, it doesn't help when obviously inferior players tout my supposed lack of skill... especially since for the longest time, I had been taking them out repeatedly. Every dog has his day, and they got theirs out of sheer luck.

Oh well. Think what you will of your precious server, I know my performance was not to blame for these "misses". Out of curiosity, where is your server located? East/West coast?

I get just as many pass through the front of a heli as I do on any server. GA and Node where I ping 20 or less I get the same probs everytime I aim for the cockpit. As I said we all know there is buggy netcode and hit detection problems when you try and tv a heli straight on and aim at the windscreen.

I assumed that I had lost my touch with the TV gun untill a few posts were made complaining of what I was seeing happen to me. I can still hit ground targets but I've a fair bit of hair missing now through trying to get another chopper. The only hits that have registered were on the tail rotor and another that I swore missed completly but registered as a hit.

You don't own the same connection or reside in the same area, so I would say the individual differences can very easily explain the differing opinions we have on your server's performance as it relates to our gaming experience: why is this so hard for you to understand? That YOU would get a good performance in no way guarantees that I will.

By the way, the last two shots I took on DOJO's heli were all directly centered: none were anywhere near the cockpit. Why you would assume that such was the case is beyond me. I just wish I had been frapping it...
