ummm, you REALLY havent ever played cs have you? I have much experience with that game, and the hiboxes are AGES better than BF2's, and 98% of all other games. YOU, it might have terrible hit detection, for 3 reasons..

1.) You do not know how to aim (most likely)
    2.) your rates suck
3.) (if you play source) you play on 33 tic servers.

I have all my rates set good, and NEVER have I hit a guy and it didn't register, EVER. Now how about bf2? EVERYTIME you shoot at someone, a good 1-2 shots will not register on average.

I have to agree with Monk, Brian... sorry. I was cal-im for a long time and know for a fact that CS has excellent hitboxes. BF2 just sucks on the ground, which is why I hardly spend any time doing any groundfighting, outside of capping flags. In fact, I just run around with my knife, because I've already stopped trying to shoot people.

I dont know which is more sad, people who think cyber amateur sports make them gods or people who care about them. Youre an asshat whos fingers move quicker over the keyboard. For all I know youre probably just better at masturbating.

If you can't see how people stat padding, and people getting their little panties in a bunch because of it, directly ties into the the theme of this thread, you should go back to school instead of trying to call others redneck.
The only relation between the two is one word, "stats", thats it. The topic is about stats altering majority of peoples gameplay. Youre talking about little e-penis soldiers who abuse the already laughable system to get further and bigger. Heres the funny part, two different topics. Heres an even funnier part, if you werent a d!ck in the first place we would have resolved this in a neutral manner. Sad man you are, tardcart.

What's really funny is, we're saying the same thing, you are just being a d1ck about it.

Now get back to your trailer, Rod.

Yeah, its all about timing, innit? Either wasting 3 minutes in the public toilet and not get caught or wasting 10 and hitching a ride with the police.

Is that supposedly sarcastic rant, made up of personal experiences, or strange esoteric wet dreams?

LOL, no sir. But when youve seen too many teen comedies that ride on the "embarassment" jokes, they tend to make an impact on your humour, however lousy or good it is already.

Um, you're the one that came with your holier than thou garbage talking down to me because my post didn't suit you, so cram it up your vagina.

And you're still a complete imbecile if you can't relate how a presistant scoring system, and the spawn of schumck it has brought forth is the WHOLE sum of why it has wrecked the game.

Re: Has the persistent scoring system ruined the Battlefield franchise?

Hell, once I got a few unlocks, the rank thing ceased to matter. There's just no way on earth I'll ever be able to amass enough playing time to get to the higher ranks - and frankly, that's all they stand for. The badges, ribbons and medals however - they add to my game experience and fun, because I choose to play differently for a while to get them. Last night I did something I never do, and ran round with a pistol for a bit to get my pistol badge. And it was (briefly) fun.

This week, I'm going for my Vet Medic and Engineer badges, so I have just finished off putting the time in (which is, frankly, a bore), and now just looking to walk away with 20 kills IAR. Now that affects my playstyle, so by going for the badge, it makes me do things differently to what I would have done. As a medic, I have to make sure I'm trying to shoot someone all the time, not just use revives and med packs to keep up my team's tickets. Once again, Incidentally, I know I'll never go expert because the time demands are just too high, and I don't want to play just to serve time.

I still have never played as commander, and have never flown. Basically don't want to play commander and screw it up for everyone else, so best to leave it to someone who knows what they are doing (however these seem few and far between), and can't get in a jet or copter without crashing it within 15 secs or so, and wasting the asset for the team. But maybe one day I'll work out how and find a whole new way to enjoy the game?

Seems to me that this is just another thread created to make PR seem like the answer to all of the world's problems. Gee, the BF2 stat system is killing things like teamwork...well maybe you should look at my signature and come on over to the best darn game mod in the universe.

                          Wrong.

I feel I bring up a completely valid point, and according to the poll results, so do many others.

No mods are getting the attention they deserve because people are blinded by their lust for stats.

Couldnt bother to look up for the word, as whatever you tried to say, you tried too hard to leave an image of something that would look intelligent. And Im too worn out to put my mind to it.

Balls, youve yet to understand or accept that Ive been saying it for aslong as Ive been here- stats have farked up the game. This dispute started from your signature not being on topic, as you pointed it out.

If I hurt your feelings, you can cry me a river. Youve done plenty of sh!ttalking around here to be offended. Besides, I wasnt trying to insult you.

bf2 should use the COD 1 kind of ranking. not for unlocks, but for those grat golden pixel arches. every round is a clear slate, you rank up every 3 or 4 kills. cool.
