Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.

I would like to play BF2 (I play 2142) because i like the modern setting, but i don't know if it's worth buying.
So is it dieing out?

There will probably always me more BF2 servers than BF2142. BF2 only took a slight hit since BF2142 came out and still has twice as many players/servers.
I don't think BF2 will "die out" until another Good Game comes out that can match/improve on the Battlefield series (aka BF3).
It's still best there is. It will take some time for people playing 2142 to figure out how boring it eventually is and then we get some players back. ARMA will certainly take a load of players out of the ring, but I'm pretty certain BF2 and mods will hold for some time.
Actually I think we need something fresh next time. BF2 was something fine when it arrived, but patch after patch it has been destroyed to be something mediocre (well actually it still beats the hell out of other candidates). I really miss the times when Blackhawk was a killing machine. Back then also jets were in balance. I remember that AA was almost useless, but it certainly is still almost useless if there is an even half decent pilot flying the plane. Yes it was more fun back then.
Well no more crying for the past, BF2 is still kicking. I just hope that those 10 year old kids with attitude disorders will like more of BF2142 and it's new shiny guns and leave the BF2 for the adults.

Seeing as BF2 is ALWAYS 4th or 5th on the Xfire top 10 list (it keeps switching with CS 1.6) I wouldn't say it was dying. In fact, compared to BF2142s performance (it's always 10th on the list), it's growing more than anything.
I refuse to buy 2142 when I read about the fact they have ads in the game (dunno where, probably the menu, but still). 35 quid on a game and then you get ads? Please. Perhaps this is the future of things to come in mainstream gaming, but right now... EA, what *were* you thinking? And I say "EA" because I bet the order to but ads in there didn't come from DICE.
