the way i see it it takes an above average pilot in the F35 and a dumb *** pilot in the j-10 for it to be balanced.

Not wrong, but I disagree that a good pilot in the F35B can't own the vast majority of J-10 pilot's if he uses his jet correctly.

The J-10 turns like a snake, but that doesn't help if the F35B pilot can hit and run at high altitude. That top speed will get you waaay out of sight before the j-10 can turn, spot, and lock on you. Watch Metallica's videos, they helped me 200%.

I played another round on Dalian this weekend and in less than 15 minutes of flight time, I went 6-1 against J-10's in the F35B. I am far from a hot pilot, but my only death was 100% my fault for getting lazy in the end and scouting too low for targets.

I have a few good moves against the high altitude runs. People have done plenty of that to me, and the cure is simple. Endurance, intel and use of long afterburners. Brain wouldnt hurt either.

The problem isnt the capability of a great F35B pilot owning up mediocre or bad J10 pilots. The problem is that the great F35B pilot WILL BE DEAD, if caught by a whatever skilled J10 or any other jets pilot, and having no flares. Period.

Anyone can get behind anyone and spam as much missiles as possible. Staying behind a F35B is easiest, with F15 and Su34 being exceptions.

If youre flying F3B, you have to get every trick out from the bag, and that wont guarantee you that you will be caught by a pilot or a stray missile at the worst possible time. You fly almost any other jet and you can have a little more of that luxury. Whats even worse, is that the time needed to aquire a lock, is a measily fvcking puny 1 second. For F35B its 1.5 by the way. Think about it, 1 second only, and you can send a F35B pilot to a respawn screen, EVEN in midturn.

And while were at it, if we set two equal pilots into different jets, its a golden rule, that jet hierarchy has been set. I wish, you could choose a jet depending on your flight style, but fact is, just like with kits, jets are all set up in a hierarchy ladder. Duringa small period where I took my time to play around with BF2 plane codes, I did a whole lot better job at jet balance than DICE did.

And finally, you put a good pilot into J10, F35B is going down, period. Theres no ifs, nor buts, youre going down.

I still wonder why people actually debate this though. Unles they are only 1 month old into the game they can't for any reason argue otherwise. Besides, there's the forums with tonnes of information proving again and yet again, that J10>F35B. :|:

I love having to hit my flares to evade stray missiles, especially when they're pulling 90° turns.

I just downed 2 J-10s in 2 rounds, it's absolutely ridiculous. All they have to do is pull back a bit and do a ridiculously sharp turn and your missile just carries on going forwards!!??!

Wow, i knew the other jets had better turn radius but didn't know they had faster lock on times as well.

I don't think anyone is arguing that the J-10 performance is not superior in most areas. I love to fly it once in a while too, especially when I am facing superior pilots.

But I honestly think too many people whine about how it RUINS the game. Sure it's an imbalance, but big deal! Who says the game has to be completely generic, fair, and boring.

The thing is, Irish. Ok, let the PLA enjoy superior air power. But for gods sake, why cant every team have a special, super uber side?

This isnt about being generic. Plain and simple, this is about DICE not knowing what they are doing anymore.

They just probably figured out that with each change they just fvck things up even more and stopped changing it alltogether.

f35 will pwn anything on the ground and thats about where it ends...i still enjoy flying it but the j10 is just rediculous. i was kicked from a server last night for pwning with the j10. i rejoined and still pwnd on the opposite side with the f35 as long as i could stay clear of the j10. i just fly straight up and come down on top of points killing then get the hell out of dodge.

try to squad up with the guy in the other f-35b on wake and hope he has a mic, i did some awsome stuff when i did that on wake, the guys in j-10s thought we hacked and they said.

"since when do f-35bs shoot down j-10s with no losses over and voer again..HAX"

just made me laugh if you can have one guy run as bait and the other fall in behind the j-10 will have to either break and run to avoid ur missles(and if he does he WILL doge them but now he has 2 f-35s on his tail) or like most j-10s they overestimate their immunity to miisles, after his flares fire enough an dhes down...or machine gun rake him since he wont manuver sharper than an f-35 because thats what hes chasing.
