Re: Getting Owned by Dive To Prone

The issue will always be that they should have coded that you need a redeploy animation when changing stance. Thus, everyone in the world could not (since its not at all realistic) flop to the ground, deploy if need be, sight and fire with extreme accruacy in under 1 second and kill a previously prone player, sighted and firing on you. Poorly coded aspect of the game that should have been addressed early on and favors the quake style hop, flop and spray playing mentality......

That seems to be it in a nutshell. And may I congratulate you, sir, on doing so without resorting to insults as have so many others in this thread. Good on ya.

i have done it before and it isnt always a result of a macro. as a support whore i find the need to go prone very often. however, when it is done over and again in rapid succession then it becomes questionable.

No, it doesn't. If you lack the coordination to do that you may be clinicly disabled. The prone delay prevents people from doing anything so fast that it could be mistake for macros or would allow macros to be effective. If you have any sense of timing you can do it with easy. I really can't imagine what you find hard about it. Press jump, press prone. It's probably harder to revive people, maybe they have revive macros now too?

I somewhat agree, yet you cannot blame people for playing the game in the most effective way.

Agreed on the complaining bit, kick my ***? Tell that to my GP-25.

Oh and I fish flop when I'm desperate...and because it makes my player's crotch feel great. Oh the friction.
