Serial, one thing that needs underlining is that getting baseraped is a "team effort" LOL. Theres not much you can do singlehandedly. One skilled squad could turn the tables though.

Anyway, if Im getting massively baseraped, I simply break away from the team and start hunting the infantry. Its really great to knife snipers and such that way.

This reminds me of the worst baseraping session Ive ever been a witness to.

Me and a couple of flyboys made a ground squad on the map of Oman. There were 6 of us, 5 jet pilots and a chopper junkie. The MEC guys had all flags but the River Fort so we started our attack from there. Note, 6 flyboys, I think there was only 1-2 players in the squad who were worth something on the ground (all kickass pilots though). Anyway, we quickly took all the ground flags and every one of us had a piece of armor. When we started rolling into the MEC main, things went really bad for the MEC.

The game was a 2200 vs 2000 tickets, and we won 1500 vs 0 tickets.

A buddy of mine logged into the server in the middle of the round (he could singlehandedly "take care" of us 6 on foot), and later we had a talk about it, he said that half of the MEC team werent spawning at all and were simply waiting for the tickets to end. Which means that half of the team were on the spawnscreen waiting for the nightmare to get over. He also said that he hasnt seen anything like it when he saw 3 APCs and 3 tanks with a chopper crew tearing things apart around the spawnpoints.

I felt guilty afterwards, LOL.

why the hell not :) i dont really care bout getting base raped i either spawn else where then come up behind the enemy or just run away and capp some diff places

How if its the last spawn point your team has and you keep getting killed the instant you spawn?

That, to me is base rape. I never understood why it is acceptable when it's the last flag. Surely it should be the otherway round, if a team has more than one spawn its should be acceptable to attack any of the bases, because the enemy can spawn at the other base of they keep getting killed.

Personally Im dont baser rape uncapable flags as a rule, but i can see why it should be allowed and also why it gets on peoples nerves.

Sounds like abuse of the stats system to me to be honest.

Yup, its generally ~300 tickets per team or 9-10 tickets per face. The server was unranked. LOL... stat system abuse. Ive played on 3500 ticket servers too. Those are pain. The most optimal ticket count so far has proven to be somewhere between 500 and 700. Maximum game enjoyement and the chance for a new game isnt hours away.

Well it does not matter to me really if my team base rapes but if I'm the victim then I am against it cause once you spawn boom your dead by a chopper arty or plane or soldier depending on the map
