If I had to chose only one gun to play BF2 with, I would chose the G36E and never look back.

Hm, I'm not complaining but can't you peolple just admit the G36e is a superior weapon? No question an expierenced player can own a 'noob' with an M16, but that's not the point. I use(d - just quit playing) the stock weapons alot just for a change, but if I wanted points, everything optimal and the odds on my side i would soley use the G36e.

Anyhow don't nerve that weapon, wouldn't make much difference, the game rocks, I think it could even be a little unerved. Diffecault to do of course so just leave it like it is...

The G36E may be the best gun for you, but not necessarily the best gun for everyone, I personally like the AK-47, & the L85 better overall

I went thru a "this G36E is the best gun ever" phase too, it is accurate, & deadly (in my hands) @ mid, & long ranges (you can snipe w/ the L85), but so does the L85 on SS while using less ammo, & on full auto the L85, or the AK-47 pwns the G36E in CQC (in my hands)

Hell, the AK-47 is a G3 w/ a big mag in SS

The L85 is my medic "weapon of choice"

ps. I bet the G36E is deadly accurate in SS too, but I hate to get caught in CQC w/ a weapon that is not capable of full auto

The G36E may be the best gun for you, but not necessarily the best gun for everyone, I personally like the AK-47, & the L85 better overall

This is why I view the gun as a powerful weapon but one that requires skill to be powerful with. I die all the time to people who go full auto with a RPK/PKM/AK-101/L8A51, spray randomly and get 1 lucky deviated headshot that instantly kills me. That never happens when I'm against the G36E because you can't spray n' pray with that weapon like you can with the other guns and I know every round that lands on me was intentional and pre-meditated. If you can aim the gun correctly and control your click rate though it can kill your target very rapidly.

It is my opinion that there is a misconception that everyone using full auto is "spraying randomly", or is guilty of spray, & pray

I personally use SS @ mid to long range w/ the L85, M4, G3, & AK-47 (my weapons of choice) & only switch to full auto when I have closed the distance w/ the enemy to the point that I can aim @ center mass & not miss in full auto because the cone of fire is not larger than my target in my sights

The only exception is w/ the RPK-74, or SAW w/ which I have taught myself to control my bursts to 2, to 3 rounds when the cone of fire will make some of my rounds miss the target

are you serious ? medics get 2 ways to get points and then some of the best assault weapons in the game body armour does almost nothing and slows you down medics are completely unbalanced and ridicules and make the assault class pretty much useless

Body armor doesn't slow you down, you just get shorter sprint. The assault class also isn't useless... I maintained a pretty good SPM while going for my Veteran Assault badge. That grenade launcher can do wonders. Also, who cares if medics get easy points? Just play how you want. If you find medic "whoring" to be cheap, then you'll feel more fulfilled when you get your points doing something else.

Thanks very much for the answer. I have the SF disc, but never installed it. If I install SF, will it allow me to unlock the G36E when playing standard BF2?
