AH well, not like its hard to get 5,000 points again...I don't like some of the guns that ive unlocked anyway ...and I won't be visiting a knive, pistol and pads only server again...plus the I hate the name Chickydo, I invented it when I was 11 (not when i got BF2) and I just hate it, been waiting to get rid of it for ages, but you have to create a new BF2 account to do this...

P.S. I haven't checked my account yet, so I don't know whether its been reset or not...Chin up, fresh start.

oh and if you want to find the server you was in go to the Fav tab and it will show history of servers

it doesn't matter who you report it to they do fvuk all, I have reported players for stats padding with screens, servers for abuse/breaking roe with screens nothing has been done, so it's pointless

I got kicked form a server the other day, not for using a sniper rifle but because i was owning..the reason for being kicked was because i was "dodgy" :P

Spot on there, I only heard about knife/pistol/pads only servers from a "friend" a couple of weeks ago...and I wasn't that good on the server anyway, I have to say it was pretty boring too...Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who posted in this forum, I have realised what a dkick-ed i have been, I really don't mind about the less helpful posts, because now I have learnt that the ROE does exist, I have read through it, no ranked knife/pistol/pads only servers allowed, not allowed to switch teams at last second if score is somthing like 1-1 so that the change makes the roundend...etc etc...

But These points have been made and I think should now be dropped...:

1. Yes I was kicked from server for using a sniper rifle...ahha funny. End.

2. Yes I played on a ranked knife/Pistol/Pads only server...omg, self-owned!. End.

3. No I didn't know that the ROE existed, or that knife/pistol/pads only servers were not allowed to be played on. End.

4. No I will never play on a knife/pistol/pads only server ever again. End.

5. Yes I have learnt my lesson. End.

6. AND why have so many people bothered wasting their time with a noob like me? When they could be on NON-Pistol/Knife/Pads only BF2 servers pwning, getting that little bit closer to their next rank...enjoying the game...I just don't understand it...ah well. End.

As you've seen, there are some truly pathetic, stupid admins out there.

The whole ROE system, while better than nothing, has some GAPING holes in its logic. If K&P servers are a BAD, evil thing, why not shut down the SERVER rather than punish some (not all!!!) of those who play there? Or remove its ranked status, just as good. But no, people who have no clue that ranked K&P servers are bad are at risk for getting their stats wiped, while those who run the server have pretty much zero jeapordy. It's absurd.

Reading the basic ROE doesn't clue the average Joe in to half of the "bad" things that servers can do that can get the player's stats wiped. Things like a "no armor" rule (not the no-vehicles option, but a scrolling rule), which actually does make for a fun game. Or a "don't cap ___ and ___ bases" rule (which prolongs the game since there's no ticket bleed). Guess what... you play on that server, you can get your stats wiped, even if you play nice & follow the rules that scroll. Make sense?

Now, IF you're a ROE lawyer & you understand the rationale behind it all, it does make some sense, but you have to join a forum like this one to see all that; if you just play the game, there's no warning beyond an incredibly vague "play the game the way it's intended to be played" line in the original ROE -- nothing that would tell the average Joe about half the pitfalls out there.

If K&P and such servers are bad, go after the servers, not the players!

It seems to me that ROE has its priorities all wrong. Arsing about on a K&P server - which has zero effect on other peoples enjoyment of the game - will get your stats wiped.

However, feel free to fly someone out of bounds if they don't meet your gunning standards or shoot them to stop them getting in your chopper again. Worst that will happen is you get kicked from the server.

Surely this has much more effect on other peoples enjoyment.

Personally I think K&P servers are a great thing. Let all the people that want to arse about go there and then there will be less arsing about on normal servers.

The reason why the KP servers are all still up is because stupid EA doesn't want to lose money. When stats get wiped, they don't lose any money. If anything they'll get more.
