Not liking it so far. My FPS has dropped BAD since it came out. Furthermore, because of how the no fire portions of play are now I cant tell or trust when Im going to be able to fire or not. REally inconsistent. At least BF2Pro for CAL helps a bit =P

I think that most BF2 players, not all, are so confixed on the fact that this game sucks, so they find ANY excuse to say that, REPEAIDLY! I don't care, im tired of it by now, i have seen every patch, this, is by far one of the MOST STABLE PATCHS!

Why, i usally crash (1.3) every game, lag was HUGE! and it wasn't fun, hackers and such. Now it seems the game has picked up the pace, way more fun, no crashing, no servers crashing, no lag (for me).

So my point i think that certain people post here just to remind everyone for the 1,000,000 time that this game has some (somtimes unplayable) flaws. WE KNOW THIS. GET OVER IT. You, in my mind, have nothing better to do, but get your post count up, (whoopy) and to remind everyone and your self that the game is bad.

What do you have short term memory loss, so you must post, "this game sucks." then come back the next day so blank, that you have to remember, "Hey, i posted yesterday, what was it about again, o yeah this game sucks! Whoa i almost forgot."

The J10 isn't what needs to be fixed. It's the F35B that needs to be brought up so that it can actually compete with the J10.

i almost completly gave up with bf2. and with bf francise in general. EA and dice did GREAT things to make me go away.

patch 1.4 is a total failure. it is not a bugfix it was suposed to be - quick fix to outstanding f.. up they did with server stability. it took them like 3 months.. about 2 months and 3weeks too much in my opinion.

while it took them 3 months they did not fix major and outstanding imbalances in game - like that f.. j10 [which they made BETTER!!!], red tag bug was to be fixed, while it is still present and kicking. 'im private now' bug is still here. so tell me, what was fixed? server realy didng crash on me, but hey, that is not an achievement after 3 months of fixing their OWN bug.

EA/DICE dont care bout bf2. they should put it into welcome message 'go away and buy bf2142 and we are going to ignore you again'

only justifications for 3months worth of work are IO mode and jalalabad map.. well, IO is fun, but i honestly cant believe it took them more than 2days, because after 2 hours on this forum people came with better implementations of IO mode.. and jalalabad. lame excuse to prolong the patch relase. good job ea, i have other games now, from another publishers..

only way of making EA care about players is to make this game a subscription fee game - that way they can REALY feel where it hurts, when after f.. up patch, they loose 10mil the nest month

Actually I thought I was loving the 1.4 patch. No CTD's, and the gameplay was matching my style of play much better and I was tearing a new one.

However last night was disasterous. Numerous CTD's with restarts in between, seriously degraded performance (LOTS of slowdown) and worse of all, I got my *** handed to me in every map for 2hours.

So I'll have to see how it plays this weekend. But seriously, last night I couldn't doathing right. It wasn't even Spawn-Kill-Die it was Spa-DIE-wn.

What is with the people complaining about the J10? So it's better than the F35, so what? Find a way to avoid it, like flying high and when tailing one don't shoot off missiles fast so he knows where you are. Or even better, don't sit on the carrier for hours and wait for planes!

Heh, the problem is both that the F35 is an unmaneuverable boat and the J10 makes missiles look like a bad joke.

Create a squad and help the US take the airfield, which leads to, guess what! No J10s!

And they're just gonna sit there and watch you take their airfield? Come on man, come up with better advice than "OMG liek, take the CPs and yuo will win."

Even after 50 hours of flying I was only beginning to be good enough to use the J10's better manoueverability to my advantage in dogfights.

Even then a pilot who was pretty good could wipe me out easily.

I think thats why this hasn't got high priority, because this imbalance only affects those who fly, and even then only the better of those who fly.

I realise an "invincible" J10 also has consequences for those on the ground. But I believe that the best pilots, who can get say 90-0 in the current J10, would just get say 85-5 if the J10 is nerfed.

I'm not saying the J10 doesn't need fixed, but I believe it's why nothing was done.

nothing was done because DiCE Canada said it was too hard to fix. it was already posted in the big J-10/F-35 thread.

On topic:

I think this patch is crap. They changed all of the plane's handling so now they are all twitchy like the J-10 but without the turning and missle avoidence. The one thing the F-35 had going for it was that it was a very stable and precise at ground attack. Now they even boogered that up.

C-4 distance was reduced yet again so now it just plops in front of you. Why? You could no longer chuck it after the last nerf so why nerf it more?

The longer recharge time on the Defib stinks. The med pack reduction stinks.

"There is a problem with your connection" Is worse for me now than in 1.3. Every ten minutes it times out.

On the whole, I think 1.4 stinks.

i'm not voting because i think it's better than 1.3 and I really don't want another patch.

I caused me some performance downgrade, but nothing that i could manage.
