Am I the only one that thinks that IO mode shouldnt exist? And even if it didnt exist, am I the only one that thinks the servers that kick/ban people for using vehicles should be shut down? Seriously, its what the game was made for.. Vehicles are half the game, if you dont like them go play Counterstrike or Call of Duty.

Bajawoojie--I'm with you, BF2 was made with vehicles and should stay that way. It makes no sense fighting without vehicles, I guess we walked across the ocean to fight in the Middle East.
This is a flame fest. All flaming does is get you banned or a thread locked, so try to refrain from it.
I like IO as an alternative game play style. It is no different than CTF which many want, but have not received. When I want to play IO I filter the server with the no vehicles option. When I want non-IO game play I turn that filter off.
if you use a 64 player server, running say karkand, theres what a tank, an apc and a couple hummers, per side to start, so basicly 2 or so people get loads of points, the one in the tank and the one in the APC, those people now get killed on IO servers, no armor to hide in, no armor means they dont get to kill loads of infantry, do you see the problem?
Its another game mode, dont play it, but dont complain because others wish to play it, same with CTF, which we dont have, but others have asked for it, when /if it ever comes out, ranked, why complain?, just dont play it, but dont say it isnt BF2 because of no vehicles, read above, 2 out of 32 get a peice of armor
Now with IO, everyone is even, no vehicles, so your mad because 2 people dont get to use a tank/apc???
IO is great but its an option no ones forcing you to play it
btw if you want a good server without IO try DVA or Spec-ops I used to use them

What a total crock of shyte. I'm an armour engy specialist, I've played IO most of the weekend and have been getting plenty of medals and top 10 finishes on 64 player.
And I should also add that thats playing as assault too, not support or medic whoring the map.
