Re: Does switching seats breaks enemy lock?

you guys have taken the topic of breaking locks and using macros to break locks as to different things it sounds.

One side is arguing for seat switching while the other side is saying how bad it is...but the thing I "think" the original guy stated about his macro..maybe I could be wrong is that he uses macros to rapidly switch like 1,2,1,2,1,2...now I can see being able to jump from pilot to gunner..take shot.. then back to pilot.. as not a bad thing, it still leaves an area of oppurtunity to strike..but if by back and forth switching from seat to seat at a scripted speedy macro just to avoid lock..thats kind of weak.

If you knew there was a flaw were one could do this in tanks and have AT missles pass through it would you?
If you knew a kit was bugged were you would be come immune to shots by cycling your weapons..would you use it?
If you knew certain maps had areas inside buildings that could be accessed by unfixed flaws, allowing you to kill without being injured..would you use it?

All those things fall into the same catagory as using a flaw in game mechanics do to lack of ability to compete equaly.
All these examples are sort of a test of sportsmanship and "fair play".

99% of competitive online games have existing flaws..youll meet them in Bf2, Madden, etc.. It all comes down to how you use them and what kind of person you are. You can argue till your face is blue with people that take the low road, or you can carry your self with dignity.
Some people have low self-esteem are insecure when faced with competition, its life.

Sure you are... What he failed to point out, was that on the site where he waxes on about his blinding intellect, a question was asked of all of his 'friends' about what their IQ was. What was it again? 75% of you are in the top 5% of the population. hahahahahaha... classic. For a supposedly smart guy, I think this tells the story.

Only people that have very fragile ego's (and most times, justifiable) feel the need to try to impress people with allegations as to their intelligence. Do yourself a favour some-time, my cheating froggy no-hoper, do a word search and see how many times you refer to YOURSELF as 'gifted', 'talented', or 'intelligent'. Jeez... you talk about yourself as if you were your mother... and somehow I suspect there's a little bit more to that story than meets the eye. Never have I seen so much evidence of someone having the moral fortitude of a soap-bubble, while trying to extend the legend of himself... in his own mind. Ya can't do SQUAT without cheating. That's the reality of who you are. And like all of your lying delusional mates on the site where you all congratulate yourselves on how intelligent you are (and of COURSE you're all in the top 5%), the only person you're fooling is yourself.

The big test? The one where it REALLY shows the level and ability of your aspirations? The task that you deigned to undertake when completing all of your studies (at the top of your class, of course)? The mind-bendingly complex and important task for which all humanity awaits the completion of your life-defining goals?

What do you do for a living? Eh mate? That's right... you change the toner cartridges in printers.

Why would you buy stuff you can easily and legitimately get for free?

Now, I'm all for the use of macros in this game. Most of them just make life easier, and it's not worth it to ban all macros because of the possibility of abuse. But, with people like you defending their use I really have to wonder whether or not my decision to support macros is a sound one.

In short, speak English. Your post is really hard to read like that.

Get a clue and learn to read. We're not talking about macros, we're talking about seat-switching breaking the lock. Or are you so fn stupid that you can't even read the thread title?

Now go back to sleep little boy.

Re: Does switching seats breaks enemy lock?

its very simple macros are not cheats cause "people say that it gives another player an advantage" ok they said it them selfs consider the following

player one { using a ball mouse} Player 2 usin an optical mouse < does that make player 2 a cheater just cause he has a quicker response time using an optical mouse?? my point exactly all macros do it give the person using them a quicker response time and you dont have to fiddle with 50 million dam buttons it just cuts down onthe key strokes aka an advantage means it not a cheat as most people say it is

                1. macros do no modify any game files what so ever therefor the people on here that call MACROS cheats are just plain foking stOOpiD

2 the people that call them cheats are just cry babies that whine all day he cheats he uses macros stfu want a cry towel

Like-minded people associate. It's a fairly simple concept to understand, but yet again you fail at the most basic of things: I love that you increasingly make yourself appear as a dullard to everyone on this site...

Psychometrically speaking, 1 in 20 people score at the 95% percentile: hardly a rarity.

Nah, I just like putting you back in your place: eventually, you'll realize how ridiculously stupid you are and cower in shame. Either that, or make others laugh at how dense you can be. Oh, and you brought it up, not the other way around: I'm just answering (perhaps pointlessly) your drivel.

Never have I seen so much evidence of someone having the moral fortitude of a soap-bubble, while trying to extend the legend of himself... in his own mind. It's interesting that instead of attacking my arguments for seat-switching, you would rather nitpick about my references to intelligence: truly says a lot about how fragile your position is.

The big test? The one where it REALLY shows the level and ability of your aspirations? Same as the above...

Re: Does switching seats breaks enemy lock?

                        This is so weird...
For me, snice the 1.3 patch, the locktone will stay when I switch seats...
Also I still get hit by AA, though I cannot say for sure how many missiles hit and miss...

So a new question would be, under what surcomstances does the lock actually get broken..? And does that include the lock sound..?

                        And about macro's:
They are all about obsolete in this game...
Except for the fire fast tv guide macro, more can be done by editing controls.con...
(And even that can be bound to mouse scroll wheel up/down for a good emulation of it)
It is actually possible to edit 1 key to go from pilot, directly to tv missile screen... No macro nesesary, hence not cheating... To top that off, I could opt to have the missile fire at once as well, but that creates tv bugs more often than not...
No macro involved, purely by editing controls.con...

It is however, very unlikely that people will try to figure it out themselves... It is so much easier to scream macro, cheat and unfair advantage, then to take action and learn how to edit the controls.con...

My guess is that mine will be the last reply in this thread and people will move on to the next thread where they can whine about macro's again...
