Re: Does switching seats breaks enemy lock?

macros/cheats/hacks/glitches/exploits are all variations of something that gives one player an "unfair" advantage over the other(s).

"unfair" has it's root in being "not as game was designed/intended".

switching pilot/copilot seats 10/20/whatever times in rapid succession was not a designed/intended ability to avoid missile lock. not even in slow succession. :/

how stupid would a game developer have to be to do something like that, lol? "omgz, omgz, so like there is this cool ability i want to put into our game... so like in a heli if the pilot jumps into the copilot seat lock will be lost... so cool!!!! huh!?!?! like omgz, lesdoit!!!!!" stop it, don't be silly.

now in the end: sloi, you're an arrogant prick rofl and besides this guy is lobbying for the game to be fair, what is so wrong with that? pick on some guy that is just complaining randomly about EA for no reason. this guy at least has a leg to stand on with his arguments. attacking him personally just shows how pathetically insecure you are. let him be.

quokka: lol i agree with you, but stop baiting sloi. it's a never ending argument with him. he wants the last word too badly.

Re: Does switching seats breaks enemy lock?

I'm pretty sure EA/DICE know by now that seat switching is in the game. If it's still been untouched and remains as part of the game since day 1, after so many patches, no matter how much whining and name calling people do, no one can class it as an exploit/cheat. Why? Because they can do it too. It's not clipping through walls or making you invincible. It's part of the game.

At the end of they day you can't accuse anyone of cheating or exploiting. Sure, EA/DICE should fix the problem with the missile lock. But until then, anyone that argues about the concept of seat switching is 'cheating' seriously needs to realise how lame they sound.

Seat switching is for lamers? It's one of the most complex things to do in the game. No, it doesn't rquire macro's to be used effectively. So that can go out the window. Pressing F2, right click, left click isn't hard. Unless you have huge fingers with arthritis.

Stop the whining. Play the game. Go complain to DICE about the AA bug. Don't spaff out abuse because someone mastered part of the game you find annoying.

Ah, you know what? I'm done trying to be nice. You want to put all soloers in the same basket and paint them in a negative light? I'll give you something to complain about.

You don't want to be reasonable and consider our arguments? Fine. You asked for it...

The reason for this beeing discussed again, might be because, for me the lock, nor the locktone gets broken...
And for others it does?, how..! that's what I would like to know...

Oooh... mommies little boy is having a bit of a tantrum. Maybe you should have a little bit of a lie-down. Have a bit of a nap? Has mommie made a bottle for you?

Here's a hint for you. If you don't like being called a cheating exploiting dweeb, and don't want to be associated with cheating exploiting dweebs... don't be a cheating exploiting dweeb.

You'll learn something alright: I tried reasoning with you guys but since that's not possible, I'll just ignore everyone and continue soloing. The only difference is that now, I won't actively try to help anyone but myself...

Uh oh, Someones about to get stalked.

                  As for me..I'm with Sloi

                  Seat switching=Part of the game.

And seeing as the aircraft will probably be moving much slower when you seat switch, it doesn't make it that much harder to hit..use the MG until your able to lock on again.

Things that are cheap and take no skill-

Proning whores who HAVE to go prone constantly just to shoot you when your only two feet away.
                  Dolphin diving
                  Macroing
                  Hacking
                  Grenade whoring
                  Base raping
                  Spawn Camping

Seat switching in aircraft...not on the list..

Get over it Sloi... These are sticks and stones... which you provide...
                    Be constructive...
(unless you are provoking for your own pleasure, which I will admit to every once and a while)

I did prove a point on editing the controls.con though... Nobody seems to care about gaining a legal advantage, if it involves more work/thought than posting "cheat..!" on some forum..

With the random cone of fire, you almost HAVE to go prone to hit anything. I have unloaded an L85 into someone on full auto from 1-2m away and he didn't die. I should have just stabbed him, but that gives dust clouds, too.
I just explained why I'll throw a grenade into an area, too. I know only 1:4 rounds will hit where I am aiming. Might as well soften some fools up first.

Thats not what I see as grenade whoring..what I see as grenade whoring is..

Getting support, going near an enemy spawn and constantly tossing nades into the enemy spawn, resupply yourself, keep on tossing nades.

(Ammo/Health pakcs never run out..if you use them all they just regenerate, so if you have support kit, you basicly have infinite ammo, and infinite nades)

This is the one of the most educated replies, ever made on any forum I know off... Unfortunatly...
Most likely, It's the conclusion of many late hours, contemplating the finer points of solo-choppering and the ultimate and decisive answer to the original posters question... :)
