Where can you find it?
I only found three of the hindin' weapons (the SVD slier, Pazer anti-tank rocket, and another diff anti-tank rocket ( don't remeber name)
Hehe the AMRs are beautiful. Both of them. I like to play kind of laid back, so having that and the other brilliant pick-up kits fits me perfectly. Gives me a nice breather from the more generic kits. Although I kind of wish the AMR kits had TACCOM and the binoculars. Guess that would be too much.
Yeah Master Shake, you have to know what your doing for it to be effective.
In a Torunament, its never used, for a good reason. Against a pubbing team, maybe it can help. I never stand still for even a second, so snipers never get me (almost never).
I to this day have never seen a sniper used in a CAL or TWL battle. Has anyone out there seen this used effectively in a ladder tournament?
Im just curious, would be interesting so see used in that setting, correctly.

In the right situation and strategy my friends and I have used them in a CAL and TWL battle, mostly use the class for spotting and recon purposes and to try and to cause a distraction. As far as keeping moving it takes allot of practice, but it really does not matter to me if your moving or standing still in some ways I prefer a moving target because you don't get frustrated when you aiming at a guy and he moves at the last minute. Also moving targets are fairly predictable and once you figure out where there going you just aim to a spot (and whole in the fence, or corner) and wait for them to run though your line of fire.
Plus when were talking about the .50 cal in POE it drops people easy and is very effective.
=D thats everything i wanted to hear... a powerfull sniper rifle at last!
I play has a sniper 99% of the time since i bought BF2.
Since im not playing like most of the snipers are, Jumping around , running, standing, firing, running, jumping, etc, i bet i'll get used to the .50 cal only shooting when proning =D
If you fired one of those in real life standing u you would dislocate yer shoulder at least.
Astonishing to see the lack of intelligence displayed in regard to real world weapons in the gaming community.
See that HUGE muzzle brake on the end of the rifle?
Most .50cal's don't kick any harder than a pump 12ga. with a 3 1/2" F shot in the tube. I've shot many many rifles... and there is not one that I've shot that will "dislocate your shoulder" upon firing it.
Not to mention the fact that anyone that knows anything about physics... would know that you get kicked LESS when you are standing up because your body moves with the impact. When you are proned out, or over sandbags on the shooting bench... you get kicked HARDER because you are more static... harder to move.
Try to excercise a little thought before you compare your mod to real life.
Right because they are basing the rifle and the whole game off of the real world....
I would like to see you accurately fire that weapon free standing.... You would probably miss by a few hundred feet and land on your *** in the process....
