All you have to do is delete the folder with the same name as your EA nick (in my case it's 'ptegan') and this will also delete your cache folder too.

Nope, still no 1.4 files. :cry:

I think they've changed it, 261MB done and I get a msg saying there's a problem with your connection (lol) or something similar and now the download just hangs there, time keeps changing 19:18, 19:50, 19:30, 19:45...

Last Monday I found a server (BATTLEFIELD.CZ #3 |City Only| SkyNet) running 1.4 and told everyone that the patch was coming out soon.

Well it seems that the patch I just downloaded has the same version as that server from last week (1.1.2961-793.0) so I think it may be the 'bad' patch that I just downloaded.

do the same setup from beta (if you did ofc) copy you battlefield 2 folder and install the patch, making shortcuts saying 'Battelfield 2 1.4' and renameing the Battlefield 2 folder(with 1.4patch) to battlefield1-4 2 (i duno something so you know what it is), and ofc change the other folder back to normal Battlefield 2, that way you can still play bother versions

It's still a newer version than 1.4 BETA 2 (1.1.2925-757.0) so how do you know that this patch isn't the final version?

Though there is only that one server with that version: game-monitor.com search

Still, you can't be sure that this isn't the real patch.
