It's not a "benefit" to exploit or cheat. The only people that can't get that, is other people who exploit/cheat.

Go ahead and play however you want man, I really don't care, but don't expect everyone to agree with you, is that fair enough?

You and a few others keep on posting this same topic over and over, like your trying to soften everyone one to the idea of exploiting.

I'm really good at the mounted .50 so from now on I'll yell at then TK anyone who won't respect my skills.
I play to have fun too, and having an idiot pilot or an inept gunner is not my idea of a good time! It goes both ways, and the selfish side tends to win out in favor of frustration and anger.

You have absolutely no reading comprehension. I won't repeat myself again: I very clearly explained why "seat-switching" isn't an exploit or a cheat. If you can't be bothered to read what I write, there is little point in me attempting to convey that information, now is there?

I don't expect everyone to agree: however, I do expect people to understand that there are valid reasons for why we do it and that regardless of public opinion, we will continue to do so. I won't be chiming in this thread again unless a post of value comes along and merits an answer.

Lets ignore the fact that this is a team game etc, or that ppl like Sloi can take out an entire army solo ina chopper,

What about the people that purchase the game with their hard earned money becuase they want to jump in planes/choppers/tanks? Why do we have to deny them off this, becuase we see fit that we need to deny these "noobs" access to these vehicles to win the round?

In hindsight sight, thinking your doing a favor for the team, your actually not.

I'll tell you why, because people like Sloi want to force their game play style on everyone else, without anyone else having the freedom to voice there opinion.

Hmm...that sounds like a communist regime.

                  Re: Solo Helicopter?

In all fairness, we are not forcing our gameplay style on anyone. Quite the contrary actually. You are telling us we cannot perform a legitimate maneuver in this game. There are always two sides to a story, and you aren't attempting to understand our point of view either. We will have to agree to disagree.

We play in servers while solo'ing daily and have yet to be kicked because of this. I will continue to play as I do until EA/Dice tell me otherwise.

I still don't understand how you can say solo'ing isn't conducive to teamwork. So would it be better if I got a sh!t gunner and did absolutely nothing in the gunner seat? Ultimately, I am taking a man from our team and putting him in the air where he is completely and utterly useless. He could serve a bigger purpose ground pounding, or taking armor. Players should take a roll where they are most effective. Don't you want to help your team win? Winning isn't everything, but when ppl jump in the helo and do nothing but sit there, they aren't helping anyone.

And I can say with 100% certainty that you guys have driven off in an APC while someone is behind you saying "Hey, I need a ride!" Now THAT is selfish. Everyone has done it, and don't even attempt to say you haven't done otherwise.

Don't hold a mirror up: they won't like the view. Worst yet, they'll deny what appears and blame any discomfort on the hands holding it.

I thought you said you weren't going to add anymore. Content-wise, of course, you haven't, but that's not the point.

I couldn't give a rats *** whether someone wants to solo-chopper. What I care is that they know about the exploit of non-AA locking, and then try to convince everyone that it doesn't exist. And the only way they can do what they do, is because they exploit/cheat.

Their answer, as a whole? 'If you had my skill, you could cheat/exploit too!'. Then, when the going gets hot, they start inventing reasons why other people might cheat too, in order deflect the attention away from them. Their argument becomes "I exploit/cheat, but only because the other guy does. I'm doing everyone a favour because I'm making the game fairer, because without my cheat/exploit, our team would lose because of the other cheat/exploiters."

And then they wonder why no-one respects them, and everyone calls them out for the cheaters they are.

                        No substance?

In retrospect, my comment to Rub's post may have been too abstract for your impotent mind: I'll consider using less multisyllabic words and more simplified ideas for your convenience in the future.

Aside from giving the occasional tip to help improve the ability of other aspiring soloists, I'll ignore these threads: since nobody wishes to understand our position, no good can come from posting the same arguments ad infinitum.

Buddy, youv never played with me so you cant assume this, I have NEVER done that - players that HAVE played along side me would know that i always go back - Why? Why not? what will you loose in turning back and giving someone a lift?

You people have some serious society integration issues - you lack the entire conecpt of sharing.

I still don't understand how you can say solo'ing isn't conducive to teamwork. So would it be better if I got a sh!t gunner and did absolutely nothing in the gunner seat? Buddy, get over yourself - people purchase and play this game to have fun and you cant sit there deciding on what role people should have in the game.

He may be useless one round, two rounds or one hundred rounds. Eventually with enough exposure he will be good and even if he doesnt, you still cant ignore the fact that he has EVERY right to jump into the chopper as you.

I could go on and on but im not - i know you will not change the way you play or even worse change your view on the concept of sharing. But all i can say is that there is one conecpt that cant ignore and thats KARMA.

You may not see the affects of what you say or do today, tomorrow, next week, next year or even 10 years from now, but i GARANTEE you, you will and when you do, you will remember this post. :)

Most people grow up eventually. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the maturity level of the people we're talking about here.

Maybe you should just get out of school first. When you actually start earning money for a living, you learn the value of sharing.

You're assuming I take guys OoB or TK then in the pilot seat. I do neither. I give everyone a chance to prove themself. If they just sit there or act foolish, I find creative ways of keeping them from going up again.

Also, did you forget I purchased the game as well? Who are you to tell me who I can and cannot have in the helo w/ me? As i said, I give everyone a chance. I don't sit on the helo pad yelling, "If anyone wants a ride, meet me at the helo pad right now!" No. If no one is there, I go. If you don't like that. All I can say is "Tough Sh!t."

And I'm sorry, karma will not catch up to me in my life do to a particular act I did in a video game. And don't attempt to relate my real life to how I play in game. Save the "I bet you're selfish in r/l too." bs for someone else. Thx.
