It won't be the final. I just have a feeling it's WAY too early for it to go Gold master just yet. I think it will either be another beta version, or maybe just a general update on how things are going.

Yep the beta testing seems to be over. Beta3 came out last week (not public though) and was tested for the past 7 days. Those test servers are empty now.

It'l hardly be about 2142 as we already know that the beta is due mid-August and that it's almost only available to Fileplanet subscribers.

Over the last week/ 2 weeks, the UK Beta 2 servers have changed to this : http://www.game-monitor.com/search.p...ll=&showEmpty=

Which is version 1.1.2961-772.0
My guess is these servers are for testing crashes, as there's very little activity on them

To me it seems like beta 3 or final.
Either way we'll know in a few hours.

"This friday" isn't the 8th December :P

American dates are backwards to the rest of the world, mind :)

This is fake news. It says friday some news about it, not the release of it. So wait until bf2142 demo. The two are comming in the same time. So they insta kill bf2.

Many of the people I talk to including myself are not buying BF2142 because of how they have treated BF2. EA/DICE can stick that game where the preverbial sun doesnt shine as far as I'm concerned.

They know how badly we want/need the patch, for them to say 'exciting' news without releasing it would just be stupid. The only 'exciting' thing to me would be the patch. Surely they aint that bad? Or are they
