Many countries use DD/MM/YYYY instead of MM/DD/YYYY. But all that thread says is that there will be an announcement made about 1.4 on Friday. It does not say that anything will be released. So what's the big deal?
I'll put my money on the announcement being that they've decided not to release 1.4 official, because people kept whinging too much about every patch they released!
If they are going to release something, I hope it's beta 3, because if it's the final, we are going to cry for 1.3 back!
Right now 1.4 beta 2 is unplayable. Or it can be considered a vehicle only mod.
Just weapons mounted on vehicles work, all the others don't.
You can't prone, can't shoot and grenades, mines, med and ammo packs disappear into the ground.
Try it yourself. At least this is how it was on a couple of servers running beta 2, a while ago.

Correction = all countries besides USA use that. (DD/MM/YYYY)
