many times when ive gone medic, someone gets in the way of my nade or other end of the scope and then straight after i tk i revive them, little did i know he was gonna punish me for it even tho i revived the cvnt. they sometimes even do it after then come back to life. friggin bs.

i don't punish unless the person is a moron or if they purposely tkd me. if i run in front of a moving vehicle and die that's my fault, not the drivers. forgive. if i'm in the middle of the road and have been well before the jeep came speeding along and there is plenty of room to go around me but he hits me anyways because he doesnt think he should move, punish. if me and other teamates are having a firefight with the enemy and some retard throws nades into the fight and kills me along with my teammates then i punish. dont spam nades where your teamates are. watch were you driving. if you can't get around someone that's understandable. if you can then do. don't play like a ******* and don't get punished. that's my opinion. i know there are people that punish no matter what and that pisses me off too. but if i tk on purpose or if i do something stupid that cause my teammate to die then punish me. i deserve it.

I rarely ever punish because I know how it feels when someone punishes you for their own stupidity. I just play the game. 107 TK's to my credit after 259 hours.

Wow. This thread is NOT the place to go for mature debate.

EvilZ, you're right. It is a common misconception, despite all the discussion to the contrary, that punishing results in additional negative score. It does not.

Your conclusion, since it doesn't affect one's score AND one more than likely isn't going to accidently TK enough to get kicked, it should be no problem. No one should fret about being "wrongfully" punished for a TK. Right? What you're MISSING is that some people have a stronger sense of right and wrong, fair and unfair than others. Sure, we're talking about a video game here whose results don't mean ANYTHING; however, some people still don't like to be unfairly accused much less PUNISHED for something they had no control over, or worse yet, was the other person's FAULT! From the number of threads there are on these forums and others, MANY folks get frustrated by it. It's real. You are also right though on the bottom line...getting frustrated does no good. People should not let this ruin their gameplay. Just accept it exists, try to laugh about it if you can and move on. :)

Although I have accidentally TK'd people before and I know that most TKs are accidental, I have seen intentional Tk's, just last night on Modder's Ghost Town, for armor and helos. These people should be instantly punished for that type of behavior. How hard would be to track, via stats, when someone kills a teammate and a second or two later jumps in a vehicle.

EA already tracks time in any vehicle and tracks Tks. It wouldn't be that hard to start a timer after a TK and if the user jumps in a vehicle within the next 10 to 20 seconds they lose enough points to bust them down to the start of the previous rank (losing their last or random unlock). They could also lose any and all awards for the vehicle they got into and lose any and all awards associated with good conduct.

That would be a doable, fair and easy way to prevent this type of behavior. As for normal TK's, accidental, we simply have to continue educating the green players about being more forgiving.
