The -point and punish crap is just stupid, I dont know how many times Im flying down the road (in the middle of the road mind you) and some stupid jerkwad decides thats a good time to dart across the street and get tked, of course its my fault for not crashing into the wall and blowing up to save him so he punishes me. Just ignorant.

Another reason to just ignore the stats and worry more about winning.

LOL this actually happened once driving by the Hotel on Kark at top speed, ran over 4 guys who were just hanging out in the road wasting ammo and resuppling each other (Can anyone say Stat-padders), all 4 punished me.

lol.. Happens to me all too often. I guess looking both ways before you cross the road is no taught anymore. Why does this not surprise me. On the other hand. I can't stand it when I'm trying to repair an APC in action and as much as I try to stay out of it's way, he accidentally runs over me. Now here is how I go about the whole TK issue. I give the guy 20 seconds. If I don;t get a "Sorry" withing that time I punish. I always try to give someone a sorry after accidentally running over them so I expect the same in return.

What are you talking about? My post had everything to do with TKs.

Punishing TKs is MEANINGLESS. It does nothing other than move you a step closer to getting kicked from the server. It doesn't affect your points, it doesn't affect your reputation and it almost has NO effect on your gaming experience what-so-ever unless you are accidentally killing A LOT of people.

Anyone who has played BF2 for more than 15 minutes knows that people are going to punish for accidental TKs. And calling people stupid for doing it IS whining about it.

There was absolutely NOTHING stupid about my post. You turn around and start personally insulting me. If anything, you are the smacktard here, not me.

I usually forgive.

I had this one guy on Iron Gator I met on the stairs. For some reason he was looking down on the floor, so of course he can't see the blue indicator above me so start shooting at my feet. I moved around and it took him forever; I didn't shoot back so I thought he'd get it, but no. I still didn't punish. I do the same thing: if I see a guy but no blue indicator, I start shooting.

The game turned into a nade fest. ie: the other team started spamming nades, our team responded by doing the same. Many changed kits to respond.
Inculing myself.

This group of 3 would run down to the KZ where the nades explode. Killing themselves and punishing everyone on the team for it.

I am not going to solo a flag that is capped w/2-3 people without throwing nades. When the radar tells me they are there. I drop a few bags start tossing nades. If I come accross someone doing this to a base I know to stop and let them finish or I will be blown to bits.

Lets see, on Karkland at the US spawn by the hill you have 8-10 throwing nades at the second street. On the MEC side you have the same 8-10 on the second street throwing nades at the hill. Myself...I wouldnt run into that pewp storm. Yet these 3 time after time did. Everyone killed them. Our team, their team. Everyone. And they continued to run down the hill into that pewp storm. Everyone on our team that killed them was punished.

I am alone at the flag, the others are on radar but not near me.
I look at the radar and see red dots. I drop a few packs 3-4. Proceed to rain nades into the flag area. These 3 run up to me and right past me into the KZ. Nothing I can do for them. I stoped throwing nades when they ran past me.
They all died. They all punished.

That is a uncontrollable situation. Yes I tk'd them. half my team tk'd them. Several tried to get them to adjust what they where doing.

I can picture that, & from what I can tell you were a "lone wolf" that day, & were using 'nades against superior forces

They formed a squad, & were confident enough in their CQC rifle skills to storm a flag defended by another sizable force

You should have seen them comin' from behind you on UAV & realized that they were stormin' the flag before you threw that last 'nade, & not thrown it

Actually my squad was making a run for a base in the rear. I was a distraction, hoping to draw arty so we could cap the tank spawn.

I broke from my squad at the sea side wall. I also got blown to hade's when the arty came in. I spawned in a tank.

It only lasted 5-10 min. My squad faught in the rear and didnt see them again that round. Everyone in VOIP was wondering what they were doing.

The commander was saying he had them going to the burbs throughout the round. I guess they didnt follow orders either.

I dont care who or what anyone respects....its not my buisness.
