I agree this stupid private 1st class was doing it to me when I was taking off in a jet, he would sit by my wing and I would tk him and he would immediatley punnish he did it about three times then at the start of the next round on wake I got the buggy and was racing to get to the jet then the same private 1st class was just about to reach the jet and I hoped out of the buggy and it ran him over with no one in it which = no tk for me, then to piss him off even more for revenge everytime he got in the jet I would park the buggy in front of the jet, he would just reverse and fall in the water lol:laugh:

i reckon the game should be able to decide whether certain tks are punishable. i've been punished way too many times for people who dont get the J-10 and decide its nice to take away 8 of my points.

Well if you have'nt done it alread read and respond to this forum thread http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84173 perhaps we can get it up to 100 pages before something like this is dealt with. My overall opinion is that the entire system from the HIT DETECTION all the way to the PTK system is flawed and needs totally reworked. But since they can't change the J-10 without changing the game, theres a fat chance this will ever get changed, so once again we must deal with it.

i only punish if the person was doing something iddiotic like placing C4 all on the ground below me and then detonating to watch my corpse fly or throwing a nade into a frendly area.

Some of the ways you get TK's is ridiculous. The worst for me has got to be on Wake. I was in a Chinese jeep thingy, my mate was in the gun shooting at a chopper, then someone throws a grenade from my team, the grenade bounces off of the jeep I'm in, but not too far killing the thrower and injuring me and my mate, thing is I'm the one that get's the negative points for it, oh and punished, I think it was around -8 in the end for nothing!

Also you sometimes get TK's if you are piloting a transport chopper and it gets shot down, how is that a TK??? You could end up with almost -20 if everyone decided to punish!

It seriously needs looking at.

How many times does this have to come up?

The punish system is FINE! If you kill a teammate, even by accident, you should lose points. Period. Deal with it. It is part of the game.

Punishing does absolutely NOTHING to you other that move you one step closer to getting kicked from the server. That's it. You don't lose points if someone punishes you.

So, unless you are getting kicked from the server because of accidental TK punishes, this shouldn't be an issue. If you ARE getting kicked a lot for accidental TKs, then LEARN TO PLAY!

I have been playing this game pretty much since it was released. The only time I got kicked because of TK punishes was prior to patch 1.2 when the commander could get punished for TKs. I artied a base, they drove in, all got blown up and punished me and I was kicked. Other than that, it has never happened. Not once.

So seriously, just get over it. It doesn't even bother me if someone punishes me.

I was playing on Karkland yesterday. It turned into a nade fest.

We had one squad that would charge down through a hale storm of nades and get TK'd every time. Each one of them would punish.

When i asked them to take another approach, because of the situation at hand. They would not answer. Later in that round while going for a flag capture these tards are with me in the alley next to flag. Radar showed 2-3 people around flag. I was tossing nades as these 3 came up next to me.

Each one went dead on to the flag. Knowing I just threw 4 nades into the mix. While I have 4 packs of ammo at my feet. Needless to say everyone at the flag died. All 3 punished.

You cant teach stupid....it seems to be an inherited trait.

Evil, I explained a situation that happened.

There was no whining, simply explaining the stupidity level some people live at. Then you come off as the all knowing smack tard. Telling me to get over it.
Of course I am going to insult your intelligence when you act like a smack tard. Your post had nothing to do with TK's or the thread. It was a direct attack on me and the post I made.

What are you talking about? My post had everything to do with TKs.

Punishing TKs is MEANINGLESS. It does nothing other than move you a step closer to getting kicked from the server. It doesn't affect your points, it doesn't affect your reputation and it almost has NO effect on your gaming experience what-so-ever unless you are accidentally killing A LOT of people.

Anyone who has played BF2 for more than 15 minutes knows that people are going to punish for accidental TKs. And calling people stupid for doing it IS whining about it.

1. Directly target the enemy w/ 'nades under UAV when you know that it is clear of friendlies, & just like w/ arty, make a nice safety zone between your explosives, & friendly forces PERIOD MF'ers
