Personally I think they should take a cue from the original Battlefield and make it so Snipers (or UAVs) actually have to paint a target for arty strikes.
In my opinion UAV's should allow for the real-time zoom alone (with a infared version). UAVs are basically unmanned planes with a camera and infared camera attached. There is still an operator that needs actually look at the feed. So anything that fools normal eyesight or infared (which is generally used at night) shouldn't be spotted.
