Yeah i spot. I've noticed though that if your in a jet or aircraft and a fellow teammate spotted an enemy jet or heli most of the time i can't see the spot.

Sometimes it shows up when i press tab, but most of the time it doesn't. When it doesn't, it does show up on th minimap, sometimes it doesn't. Buggy as hell.

Except that lone wolves can cause a mess of trouble. Spotting them never hurts - you might find that a few of your teammates can peel off to address them.

Of course you are right, but it will have to be the commander's decision which lone-wolves are the important ones. And usually, when they create a big mess they don't tend to stay away from your troops for too long. Who find's who first is a whole different thing...
But this is also what separates the newbie commanders from the experts.
I usually take care of "intruders" that try to take out my assets myself.
I like to try to predict their target, and set up an ambush for them just before they can plant explosives. I then either back-stab or shoot them in the back with my shotgun
