Create a new project in Premier and make sure in the custom settings you choose "uncompressed." In the settings is also where you choose your editing size and all that stuff. I made my editing size the same as my FRAPS video sizes, 800x600. When you export it, export the video uncompressed. When you save go to settings and make sure it says uncompressed, also there is more stuff in there as to what size you want your final video to be, I made mine the popular 640x480. The file is going to be HUGE when it saves... mine was 7 gigs... but after it saves uncompressed, that’s when you run it through Virtual Dub. Follow this thread, its helps a lot.

DivX is the best and works great, again follow exactly what this guy does and it will all work out.

Google only allows 100mb uploads.

I'll make the commentary track tonight and put it through adobe premiere, see how it shrinks down: as it stands, I have 3.2 gigs of fraps but in my experience, it drops down a good 90%. Would google video accept a 300-500MB file ?

I should think so, at least they host full length TV series on there.

What's the best video encoder?

If you're talking codecs it's X.264/H.264 or XviD, If you're talking about programs I suggest virtualdub but perhaps there are better programs around.

EDIT: Chodda beat me to it but don't listen to his advise about DIVX it's bull.

I just completed the audio track: I only did this once because it's 17 minutes long, but I think it helps (somewhat? lol) explain some of the things I'm doing. Then again, actions speak louder than words.

I'll work on this now and let you know when it's ready to be posted online...

The first video will suck in terms of explanations and details. I'll need to know what you guys want to see and then I'll be in a better position to explain stuff.

I'm posting a pic of the setup now: honestly, it's an old PS/2 keyboard (it actually locks up if you press more than 3 keys at once) and standard 3-button mouse. :laugh:

No Joystick? Yeah it seems pretty easy. For some reason my keyboard kinda locks up and my game wont respond when I solo. Not always though.

Having the keyboard lock up if you press too many keys simultaneously sucks. It's the reason I got a new keyboard. That happened recently with my currect one as well thanks to a stuck key too bad I fixed it because now I don't have a reason to get a G15

Note: If you put brackets around a capital I in a quote it will become lower case. That's odd.

Again, the commentaries are poor right now, but that's because I did this in one run: after your suggestions, requests for techniques and all of that jazz, the second should be much better.
