  • Air to Air HS J-10 vs U.S. Aircraft Exploit

The U.S.M.C. Air to Air Missiles are not working very efficient or not at all. However, get in a J-10 and it's all over! Why are the J-10 Air to Air Heat Seakers so highly efficient, but obviously underpowered in U.S. aircraft such as the F-35 in Wake Island, or the F-15/F-18's in Daquin Oilfields? The Mig-29's, SU-34, Sukhoie-30 also dominate with Heat Seaking Capability (mainly in Daquin Oilfields, Zatar Wetlands, Gulf of Oman and Wake Island).

I.E. Piloting an F-18 or F-15m Right behind (medium range) a J-10 on Daquin Oilfields, I fire off two HS, they act like they don't even see the J-10, fire off another two, and immediately fire off two more, Still the same, not one missle even acted like it sensed the J-0, this also happened against the Su-30 bomber. Joined the other side, guess what? All Air to Air dominated very effeciently.

This accounts for a majority of the Air maps, and is constantly exploited. Can Dice Fix this problem? I see this as the worst exploit, especially for padders that intentionally join non-U.S. forces to dominate the battlefield airspace. On going problem since day 1

I fail to see the exploit. I think you need to brush up on your internet jargon.

          I have expirienced this before...

I was flying the USMC fighter on Wake Island against a J-10. Normally, I would just wet my pants and run away from the J-10, but this time I decided to go up against it. I was mid range, like posted above, and fired off 2 A2A missiles. Low and behold, the J-10 threaded the missiles like a sewing thread. One went right above, the other right below. The kicker: we were both flying perfectly straight.

Thanks Casey, Anyone else having these problems? and regardless of whether you know or not, this is an ongoing problem. Don't fly? don't waste your time here.

yeah been said loads of time that there is a balance issue with these jets. but i dont think the USMC F-18 is complete crap. for some reason i find that the missiles slid off that jet more so then the J-10.

Happens to me once in a while. Although for me it doesn't matter what jet I'm in. I'll get a lock shoot and the missile's fly as if you were to shoot them without a lock.

Big difference in deviation on the US and MEC Ground to air defense,

                        IGLA: Deviation 5

                        US Stinger: Deviation 10.

Locktime, targetdistance etc all the same.

                        About the aircrafts:

                        F-35:
                        ObjectTemplate.createComponent MultiFireArmTargetComp
                        ObjectTemplate.target.maxDistance 375
                        ObjectTemplate.target.targetSystem TSHeatSeeking
                        ObjectTemplate.target.lockDelay 1.5
                        ObjectTemplate.target.lockAngle 15

                        J-10
                        ObjectTemplate.createComponent MultiFireArmTargetComp
                        ObjectTemplate.target.maxDistance 375
                        ObjectTemplate.target.targetSystem TSHeatSeeking
                        ObjectTemplate.target.lockDelay 1
                        ObjectTemplate.target.lockAngle 15

Half a second longer to engage lock with the F-35

You're forgetting that the J-10 can outmanuever the F-35 like no other.

They should change the lock angle to like 10 or even lower

Thanks for letting us know that the J-10 is way better than the F35 and starting a whole new thread.
