Bought the game for £20 and then unfortunatly bought Euro Forces for an extra fiver. Never again though... :hmm:

I don't consider the computer a BF2 expense as it was way overdue for an upgrade anyways.

Never finance a depreciating asset.

Depreciating asset is anything you purchase that loses value over time. That includes cars, computers, jewelery, clothes, etc.

The only things you should finance are your house and your college education.

Buying a personal computer, of all things, on credit, is one of the most financially foolish things one can do.

I buy power and hand tools on credit is that ok? I'm buying my pc in pieces as I can afford it to avoid using a CC

Let's see here...

$100 on the Game + all of the expansions / boosters
$40 for a new joystick
$45 for a new Zboard
$45 for new headphones
$190 for 2GB of ram
$90 for a cheapo video card that I manage with
$65 for a better sound card

$575 bucks so far.

I've played about 289 hours, so that's about $1.98 per hour. Much cheaper than hanging out at the bar.

I will have the cash to get a new CPU / mobo / PS / good video card sooner or later, so tack on another $800 to that. But of course all of that will be for more than playing just BF2.
