if you want to bash karkand, create a thread for that......if you want to whine about ppl whining, then great, make your own thread....

childish, hostility wont change my mind, i would like to see another heavy infantry map.....if you dont then fine, tell us why......

the people who take my favoring infantry, and automatically associate it with every negative aspect of infantry, and the game in general, are fools......i could very easily have just as valid an argument on vehicle whores, and could draw on every negative aspect of vehicle whorage, but i dont, its a waste.....

so dont generalize with terms like 'infantry' and think "kirkland exploiters!!1!" and "noobs whining about vehicles".....believe it or not, the prefference of infantry does happen to extend to a group of people who enjoy the infantry aspect of BF2 as well as the others...and are not noobs...
no it was more like " i hope its like karkand" no planes, no choppers just a bunch of tanks owning up infantry. and for those that do have an occasional blast in the tanks when karkand comes on, they get blasted by 3 billion anti tank rockets, so they can continue playing their infantry only crap.

well whatever... it seems the new patch will have an infantry only mode, so all the people that hide on karkand can even eliminate all tanks too...

and you do realise ALL maps are good for playing infantry ? if you dont play like a dumbass you can still have fun, even more fun than on karkand....

what is it about that map anyway?? mashturr and sharaqi are way better citymaps.

i like sharqi and karkand because they are the only two maps that do not REQUIRE vehicle use........i appreciate and use the option to use vehicles, dont get me wrong, but i like maps where if there are none available, im not screwed....i dont like running from A, to the action at B, only to get there and see that its all over, and the actions back at A....vehicle drop makes this a little better, but when the commander gets his giggles dropping vehicles on helis and tanks, this isnt an option

Well, what I will assume is that I'm a verstile enough player to get my kills on any map. Assuming I've assumed correctly, the assumption that I won't cry about each team having a piece of armor or 2 on the map would be in itself a precise assumption.

Kind of wish it was a chinese map. There are more MEC vs US maps than there are china....or even better, china VS MEC :p

i assume you have noticed that no one is crying over the presence of armor, the only crying going on is in regard to my humble opinion......go figure

Sooo you only like the kinds of vehicles that don't shoot. :hmm:
You like using vehicle to get from Point A to point B but you don't like that they can kill people.
So basically you don't like the majority of vehicles in BF2. So why are you playing?

(Yes I'm generalizing your statement because I'm tired of all the Anti-vehicle people whining about vehicles in a game that was made to be vehicle centric.

I've heard rumor of the infantry only setting coming in the next patch also.
This could be great for both sides of this.
The people who want infantry only can get their wish AND the people who can't stand the anti-vehicle whiners will be rid of them.
                    It's a WIN WIN solution.

though I can see how some maps can mislead new players as the the nature of the game in general, this is always a terrible reply to people who want things out of a game. Variety is what makes a game great (which is why any 24/7 server bores me to tears).

I'm just happy for a free map. It's important to remember that everyone has their own wishes about the map, my own personal wish is simple. Minimal water areas, and if there are jets then please provide lots of enterable buildings.

Yea well you've assumed poorly grasshopper. In the military they stress attention to detail and this is something the civilian sector, yourself included miserably lack sometimes. Refer to the 1st page of this thread and then allow yourself to rephrase.

It has nothing to do with the topic and everything to do with the fact that he's saying I'm wrong in pointing out that people are bitching about this map being another Armor whore map. When in fact there are approximately 2 posts on the 1st page that support this notion.
