Karkland owns! I love it. Tons of places to hide and snipe, and blow vehicles. However, that glitch at the Hotel really sucks a**. I hate it when a losing team has to stoop so low, as to glitch in that spot. I hope this new Jalalabad map (is that too many L's?) will be like Strike at Karkland, but without the glitchs and a bit bigger.

....im not even whining about anything, im simply saying that its useless to cut-down the ideas, and opinions of others with such pointless trash as 'go buy CSS'.....it offers nothing to the topic at hand, and is simply intended as a flame...thats the extent of the validity in that post...

lol right after the other guy finished saying this will be another butchered name map, you go calling it karkland, lol, it is called KARKAND!

But back on topic. I hope it is something like 73 eastings from USI but without all the tanks, you know maybe a few, but also make the city bigger. but that kinda layout would be nice.

I couldn't agree more.
Karkand not only brings out the worst in the BF2 player but it's also brought too many vehicle whiners to BF.

The BF series has always been a vehicle centric game. Deal with it.
BF1942 was a hit mainly because you could hop into any vehicle and use it. It was somewhat revolutionary at the time.
Vehicles are a staple of BF and they're here to stay.
For every single "infantry" type of map there ever was there were always whiners complaining about how this or that vehicle ruins their experience. Tuff Crap.
(Notice where most of the cheating is caught in...Karkand.)

The reason so many people say "go play CS" is because that's where the "infantry Only" gameplay belongs. BF is all about the vehicles.

I hope this new map is like the current AF maps. Lots of land vehicles and well complimented Air.

I couldn't agreee more. The vehicles are what makes BF 2 unique from all other FPS. May instead of CS you could try Americas Army or something like it....its free Did they intro vehicles in that game I havent played in a year and a half!!

That zip guys makes a point and mayeb if you think he is just posting useless info you might wanna check out Counter-Strike and play your infantry only well the rest of us enjoy our Military Arcard game featuring tons o toys to blow eachother up with.

I saw someone say something about Jalalabad talking about Karkand with helicopters, that would be pretty damn sick.

Buy counter strike if that's what you want.

I think he's looking for the arcadey infantry action of BF2, not the cheap "realistic" infantry action of Counter-Suck.

this thread was to discuss our opinions and ideas, my opinion was one favoring infantry, and im told 'go buy CSS', i suppose if i said i would like a jet in it, they would tell me 'go buy a flight SIM', or if i said i'de like a tank in it, they'd go tell me to buy some other game that has armor.....that is anything but constructive, helpful, ontopic, or useful......

if you want to bash karkand, create a thread for that......if you want to whine about ppl whining, then great, make your own thread....

childish, hostility wont change my mind, i would like to see another heavy infantry map.....if you dont then fine, tell us why......

the people who take my favoring infantry, and automatically associate it with every negative aspect of infantry, and the game in general, are fools......i could very easily have just as valid an argument on vehicle whores, and could draw on every negative aspect of vehicle whorage, but i dont, its a waste.....

so dont generalize with terms like 'infantry' and think "kirkland exploiters!!1!" and "noobs whining about vehicles".....believe it or not, the prefference of infantry does happen to extend to a group of people who enjoy the infantry aspect of BF2 as well as the others...and are not noobs...
