Id love to own the M4A1, its looks with the AP sights are just awesome. I have an airsoft version of M733, which is even smaller than M4A1 and is really sexy looking piece of equipment.

The G36KE in BF2, and in RL looks dumb. Id personally prefer the German Armys G36K. With the doublesights.

Probably will be my next airsoft purchase.

As for real life weaponry, Ive fired some of the BF2 weapons, but I just dont need a firearm, so I wouldnt want one :P

Guns are for killing. They're not fashion accessories.

Btw. if you carried an L85 irl, you'd soon get ****ed off, they're not comfortable, a bitch to keep clean and you need a degree in rope making to put the sling on.

You don't need a personal weapon. One time I caught an armed burglar trying to break into my kitchen window during the early hours. I ran at him screaming obscenities whilst totally nude, he broke some Olympic running records. :box: :salute:

Mabye you don't need a firearm in the area that you live in, but here in downtown Houston, they police are actually reccomending that citizens carry shotguns in their cars, beacuse it's becoming neccecary to take down groups of people at this point.

With that in mind, I'd have to choose either the MP7 or the Streetsweeper.

No worries, even though the war face and screaming probably helped, I'm sure the overwhelming influence was the 6' 1" 17st, shaven headed and very pasty skinned nude male running toward him in the dark. :)

Thats probably true, i know owning a gun is illegal here, but what about owning 17st naked guard-men?

And im sorry, but unless you live in downtown Baghdad, you really dont need to carry a gun everywhere. Especially in the beacon of civilisation that is the US...

I think people who dont have the right to own a gun get a kick out of telling other people that they are barbaric or the just dont have the need to own guns. The truth is that we in the US and other places are fortunate to have these rights and it is our job to exercise them or we will lose them. Texas has very loose gun control standards (18 for a rifle 21 for a handgun) but ironically it has a much lower murder rate than New York. There will always be killers out there and i bet if that burgular had been armed, he would have promptly shot you without thinking twice about it. he was probably expecting the house to be empty

I understand that the right to hold arms is a sacred right among certain groups in America, and each to their own to be honest. But claiming that every citizen should carry a gun for their own safety when walking down the street or driving their cars? What sort of madness is that?

And i think you'll find that if burglars are going into a place in which they expect guns to be carried they are more likely to carry weapons themselves. Burglars in Britain who are simply faced with a Braveheart-esque naked screaming man tend not to carry weapons.

With two cars parked in the drive and top windows open, I'm sure he thought the house was full but we were asleep. He was armed, with a fookin big screwdriver, and could've used it on me. However if I'd been armed with a pistol, I probably would have shot him, got the kitchen covered in blood, been arrested, and all the inconveniences etc that comes with that scenario. Instead, he dropped a bollock and ran off. I put my shorts on had a cuppa tea and went back to bed. No harm done.

You've the "right to be armed", fantastic, I'd rather not be, and don't need to be, as I'm statistically far less likely to be a victim of gun crime than you. :)
